わたつて仕切板104を設けフードを2分割し、
仕切板104の先端105とフード101前面と
の間に前方吸込口107を形成して吸込口102
の前方部の煙の風速を高くして捕集効果を上げる
ようにしていた。このレンジフードの換気風量と
捕集効率との関係を第5図に曲線Bで示す。

仕切板4の先端は下側後方に向かうわん曲部5が
形成されている。したがつて前記前方吸込口7は
ベルマウス形状となつている。

速度を打ち消し合つて、一時的に煙がたまること
になる。そのたまつた煙をベルマウス形状の前方
吸込口7から吸い込み送風機6によつて屋外に排
出する。このようにしてコンロから上流してきた
煙を効果的に捕集できることとなる。なお、第5
図に本実施例のレンジフードの換気風量と捕集効
率の関係を実測したデータを曲線Aで示すが、従
来のレンジフードに比べて捕集効率が向上してい
ることがわかる。
