Conventionally, file transmission systems have generally been created as general-purpose utilities. Therefore, when performing file transmission, it is necessary to discuss in advance the type and order of files to be transmitted on both the sending and receiving sides, and to take steps to create and implement the parameters and job control parameters necessary for the transmission. Ta. Furthermore, business processing and file transmission are two different things, and there is no general-purpose method for linking business processing and file transmission systems and operating them in a continuous manner. For example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 54-142033 discloses an inter-system communication system, and this is also similar.

It was not possible to cope with the system.

In order to achieve the above objectives, the management system of the present invention registers information necessary for file transmission (recipient's telephone number file attributes, etc.) and business processing information in a table format, and refers to this at the time of transmission. Automatically create control parameters necessary for processing.

At this time, the business program a1 outputs a record for each unit of transmission to the business output file a2, using the control record shown in FIG. 2 as a header, as shown in FIG. 3. FIG. 2 shows an example of the format of a control record, and the control identification mark b1 indicates that it is a control record. The identification code b2 identifies the attribute destination of the file to be transmitted, and can be arbitrarily determined by the user of this system.

(Steps 41, 42, 43) The control record can be easily distinguished from other records because the control record identification mark b1 is located at the beginning of the record. The control record identification mark b1 uses a character string that is not normally used in a file (for example, a @ character string).

(Steps 44 and 45) If an equal identification code is found, the file attributes of the corresponding line c 2 (file name, record length, block length, etc.),
Obtain information such as destination informationc 3 (telephone number, ID file transmission utility name, etc.). (Step 46) Using this information, the system queue storage program a3 creates job control and execution parameters for the transmission file creation program a6 (step 46).
47), then reads the business output file one record at a time according to file attribute c 2 (step 48) and reads the input records until the file ends (step 49) or the next control record appears (step 50). It is divided into record lengths of a fixed length (for example, 80 bytes) determined in advance by this transmission system, and stored in the system queue file A5 along with the job control parameters and execution parameters created above. (Step 51) If the record lengths of the receiving side processing node and the sending side processing node are different, data cannot be exchanged, so the data is converted into a fixed record before transfer.

62, 63) Restoration information of received files (file name,
Record length, block length, disk storage address, etc.) are obtained from the file attribute c2 , and business information (procedure name of business program A16, etc.) required to execute the business process is obtained from c5 . (Step 64) Using this information, the system queue storage program a11 creates job control parameters and execution parameters necessary to execute the received file restoration program a14 , which restores the received file and creates a business input file. and store it in system file A13 .
Furthermore, the reception file a10 is also stored as is in the system file a13 . (Steps 65 and 66) Next, the job control parameters for executing the business program A16 are also created from the business information C4 and stored in the system file A13 , and the series of parameter data created above is input in the same manner. Register as a job. (Step 67) When the receiving side operator wants to execute the corresponding job, he releases the business processing job stored above, and the received file restoration program a14 starts, changing the received data to the record length used by the receiving side node, etc. The restoration process is executed to create the business input file A15 , and then the business processing procedure is called and the business program A16 is executed. The transmission file received in this way can be automatically linked to business processing.

With such a management method of the file transmission system, even if the attributes of the file to be transmitted or the destination change, maintenance of the control information table is all that is required, and dynamic changes in the transmission schedule can also be accommodated. In addition, since there is less processing that requires human intervention during operation, transmission failures due to operator errors are eliminated. If you save the transmission job stored in the system file without deleting it even after the transmission process is completed, you can easily handle the transmission process again, and even if the restored business output file is destroyed on the receiving side. It can be played by releasing the transmission input job on the receiving side from the system file.
