薄板材を被覆したものを使用する事もあつたが、
アルミニウム合金の型材へステンレススチールの
薄板を被覆する作業は手問と時間を要し結局コス
トの高いものと成るので、気密性・水密性及び防
音効果に優れたステンレススチール薄板を材料と
する下枠の開発が望まれていた。

及び遮音効果に優れ、併も生産面における加工
性、コスト性が良く、組立に際し正確な位置決め
が容易に可能なステンレススチール薄板の曲物
と、アルミニウム合金の押出型材との複合材から

するシール効果を実現出来るので、本発明の下枠
を使用する事に依り気密水密用開き戸に於ける金
属製サツシの機能を一層高めると共に、従来品の
様にアルミニウム形材にステンレススチール材を
被覆していた場合に較べ、其の生産コストも相当
に低減する事が可能である。

内側に形成した水平で細幅の上段ウエブ8と、そ
の室外側端縁を上方へ折曲して形成した垂直の取
付リブ34と、その反対の室内側端縁を直角に垂
下した中リブ9と、この中リブ9の下縁を少し斜
めに折曲した幅広の下段ウエブ10とを具備する
下枠本体Bと、それと同一材料から成り、上記中
リブ9に熔接又はビス止めにより固着した、上縁
に下向きの鈎状縁35bを備えた水平ウエブ35
aを有する断面逆L字状の見切り縁35と、屋外
側に開口部を有しシール材Eを装着する単一のシ
ール取付溝20を具備する、アルミニウム合金の
押出型材から成る一体成形で、下枠本体Bの間口
の幅に等しい長さを有するシール取付部材Dとか
ら成り、下枠本体Bの取付リブ34の上縁34a
と、シール取付部材Dの上面20aとを見切り縁
35の水平ウエブ35aの下面に当接させた状態
で、シール取付部材Dのシール取付溝20の底部
