うにセグメント信号とコモン信号とを指定された表示位
置に対応する表示器３のセグメント端子７とコモン端子
８とに与える。表示器３はそのセグメント信号，コモン
信号を受けて非反転文字を図３（Ａ）のように順方向に
表示する。制御部１は反転表示制御スイッチ４によって
外部より表示反転の指定を受けると表示ドライバ２のＣ
ＧＲＯＭの反転文字のコードと、セグメント端子，コモ
ン端子を指示するデータとを出力し、通常動作の場合と
同様の動作により表示器３に各文字を上下反転表示する
とともに、画面表示を反転させるために表示文字のアド
レスをセグメント端子とコモン端子を、画面を逆さに見
たとき文字が順方向に配列するように選択することによ
り、図３（ｃ）に示すように無線機の上方向から見て正
常表示となるようにすることができる。ここでは上下を
反転させる例について説明したが、９０°回転させるこ
ともできる。また、表示器としてはＬＣＤ以外の形式の

示ドライバに記憶された前記反転文字，記号を指定する
コードと、表示文字，記号の表示画面上の配列が上面か
ら見て順方向となるような表示位置を指定する表示位置
信号とを前記デコード部に与える制御部とを備えたこと
を特徴とする表示器付き携帯用無線機。1.
