Conventionally, when decorating a watch, the main methods were to support precious stones on the upper surface of the body, to create a relief pattern, or to color the watch. Furthermore, for portable watches such as wristwatches, the band can be made of cloth or animal leather to enhance the decorative effect of the watch as a whole, or the dial, hands, and other display parts can be decorated or changed in shape. The main thing was to increase the

This invention focuses on changes in decoration, dynamic decorative effects,
In order to create an image of the watch that matches the wearer's clothing, decorations are added to areas other than the body, band, dial, etc., and the decorative parts are provided separately from the watch body and can be attached and removed. A decorative effect can be obtained by adding it freely or when assembling the watch exterior.

A ring fitting part is provided on an appropriate part of the side surface of the body or the glass edge, and a ring supporting a decorative element is attached to the ring fitting part, or a decorative element is sandwiched between the body and the ring. On the other hand, in addition to being able to add decorative elements later, a decorated timepiece is obtained in which the decorative elements are directly sandwiched between the body and the back cover, and between the body and the glass edge.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the present invention,
FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view showing a structure in which a decorative element is held between the body or the side surface of the glass edge via a ring.

is placed. Reference numeral 2 denotes a back cover which is engaged with and supported by the barrel 1 by screw-fitting or press-fitting into the lower end opening of the barrel 1. Reference numeral 1a denotes a ring fitting portion, in which a shape such as a recessed portion in cross section is continuously formed around the entire circumference so that the ring 4 can be locked therein. Reference numeral 4 denotes a ring, and a decorative element made of cloth, synthetic resin, etc., in this embodiment, a ribbon 5 provided as a decorative element is attached to the body 1.
It is supported between the ring fitting part 1a and the ring 4 so as to be pressed from the outside. Further, as shown in FIG. 4, when the ring 4 is made of metal or a non-shrinkable material, an opening 4a is formed in a part of the ring 4, so that the ring 4 is opened by a predetermined amount. The ring 4 and the body 1 are fitted together, and a certain amount of elasticity can be obtained depending on the thickness of the ribbon 5. Furthermore, the ring 4 may be a rubber band. Reference numeral 5 denotes a ribbon, which is attached to the side surface of the body 1 via the ring 4 as described above, but since the ribbon 5 is supported by the ring 4, it can be made of cloth or synthetic resin after being formed into a predetermined shape. It is made of a material such as metal foil. Furthermore, in this embodiment, a configuration has been described in which a decorative element such as a ribbon is attached to the side surface of the body 1, but even when the decorative element is attached to the side surface of the glass edge 8, a ring can be fitted onto the side surface of the glass edge 8. A similar configuration can be achieved by forming the joining portion 8a.

Hereinafter referred to as ribbon. ) and a ring 4 are integrally formed in advance and can be attached detachably. Furthermore, depending on the material of the ribbon, it is possible to provide elasticity to the fitting portion of the ribbon main body with the body, so that the body 1 and the ribbon 5 can be directly fitted without using a ring. Further, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 3, no ring fitting part is provided on the case or the side surface of the glass edge, and the ring fitting part is provided at the abutment between the case and the back cover that is engaged with the lower end opening of the case. In this section, a structure is disclosed in which a step is provided on either the body or the back cover to form a ring fitting part, and the ring is fitted integrally with the decorative element to support the decorative element.
Similarly, it is possible to support the decorative element at the fitting portion between the case and the glass edge in the same manner as in the fitting structure between the case and the back cover.

By being able to be installed during assembly or after exterior assembly,
This has the effect of not only being able to provide a highly decorative watch with a wide variety of decorations instead of limited decoration as in the past, but also being able to provide a highly decorative watch that matches clothing and the like.
