Conventional technology and its issues A planter refers to a flowerpot placed in the garden for planting flowers, etc., but it is usually large in size, filled with soil, and portable. It's not easy to do this, and I have a problem with not being able to clean it very well. Therefore, it is not suitable for mini-cultivation of small vegetables, and cannot be placed on a desk or table as a decoration. Also,
I can't enjoy the fun of growing small vegetables as a hobby, even though they can be purchased at low prices.

The material of the nonwoven fabric used in this invention is a common one, and it does not matter whether it is polypropylene, polyester, nylon, or the like. The major feature of this invention is that it uses two types of nonwoven fabric: coarse and fine. That is, they are used in two stacks, with a low-density one for the upper layer and a high-density one for the lower layer. However, the low-density
High density is relative. Originally, nonwoven fabrics are made by bonding or entangling many fibers and are porous, but in this invention, nonwoven fabrics are made of fibers that are porous, but in this invention, the size of each gap is larger than the diameter of the seeds to be sown. , small ones are called high density. Therefore, the actual density of low density and high density differs depending on the size of the seed. Both nonwoven fabrics may be simply stacked on top of each other, or may be adhered by some means. Note that the ratio of the thicknesses of both nonwoven fabrics is not particularly limited, and in particular, the low-density nonwoven fabric may be thin enough to wrap seeds. The shape of the stacked nonwoven fabrics is determined as appropriate depending on the shape of the bag or container in which they are to be enclosed. For example, in the case of a sealed cylindrical bag, the nonwoven fabric is plate-shaped, and in the case of a cylindrical container, it is cylindrical.

The water-impermeable film used in this invention is also the same as usual. Examples include polyethylene, aluminum foil, polyvinyl chloride, etc., which are impervious to water and do not become brittle when exposed to water. In the present invention, such a film is used to make a bag or a container. The top of this bag or container is partially punched out. In some cases, the punched window may be closed, and another film having enough adhesiveness to be peeled off when used is adhered to the periphery of the punched window.

In view of the small size of the planter of the present invention, small leafy vegetables are suitable for the plant seeds to be grown in the planter of the present invention. In some cases, the seeds are previously housed in a water-soluble film so that they can be placed on the low-density nonwoven fabric. Note that water-soluble films can be used regardless of whether they are natural or synthetic, such as wafer and polyvinyl alcohol.

Seeds may be spread on the low-density nonwoven fabric in advance, or may be sown at the time when the present planter is used. The sown seeds fall into the gaps between the low-density nonwoven fabrics and are stored there. However, in the case of seeds packaged in water-soluble film,
It is simply placed on the nonwoven fabric.

Effect: When seeds are sown individually, the seeds fall into the gaps between the low-density nonwoven fabrics, settle there, and germinate. If there is no such gap in which to fall, the sown seeds will not be able to settle in one place, and will roll or fall every time the bag or container is moved. do not have. That is, the low-density nonwoven fabric has the function of fixing seeds.

Because the gaps in high-density nonwoven fabric are smaller than seeds,
This does not hold seeds, but the gaps can hold water, liquid fertilizer, and air. Therefore, the seeds can obtain water, air, etc. without becoming waterlogged, creating an environment suitable for plant growth.

In addition, in the case of seeds housed in a water-soluble film, when water is poured onto the film, as the film melts, the seeds fall into the low-density nonwoven fabric and are fixed therein.

By keeping the film covering the punched window part closed until the seeds germinate, you can prevent the water and liquid fertilizer poured into the bag from drying out, and until the seeds are used. , it is possible to prevent the dispersed seeds from falling.

A non-woven fabric (low-density non-woven fabric) 1 with a gap large enough for alpha-alpha seeds 6 with a diameter of about 2 mm to fall in is placed on top, and a non-woven fabric (high-density non-woven fabric) 2 with a gap large enough to prevent the seeds from falling in is layered on the bottom. .
Both nonwoven fabrics shall be of the same size: 6 mm thick, 50 mm wide, and 70 mm long. This was wrapped in a film 3 consisting of a laminate of 12μ polyethylene, 7μ aluminum foil and 40μ unstretched polypropylene. Next, the low-density nonwoven fabric side of this package was turned upward, and a diameter of 35 mm was placed on it.
A punched window 4 was provided by making a hole of mm. Even thicker
A bag 5 of 20μ polyvinyl alcohol (35 mm in length and width) containing 20 alpha alpha seeds 6 was placed on top, and the punched window 4 was sealed with a film 7 made of the same material as the laminate bag 3. It was fixed and glued.

In use, the film 7 was peeled off, water was poured to dissolve the polyvinyl alcohol 5, and the seeds 6 contained therein were poured into the gaps between the low-density nonwoven fabrics 1. I left this on a sunny desk for a few days, and it germinated and grew.
