【発明の詳細な説明】[Detailed description of the invention]

〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は、歯みがきに用いられる歯ブラシ、特
に植毛穴部の成形精度の向上とウエルド強度を大
きくし、残留応力も少なくし、植毛強度を著しく
高め、かつ植毛部での耐熱性並びに耐歯磨剤性を
も向上できる特性の優れた歯ブラシに関するもの
である。 〔従来の技術〕 一般に、歯ブラシのハンドルの素材として多用
されている素材は、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレ
ン、ポリアミド、アクリロニトリル・スチレン樹
脂、アクリロニトリル・ブタジエン・スチレン樹
脂、セルロースプロピオネート樹脂などの合成樹
脂が知られていて、これらの樹脂で成形された歯
ブラシは、より高い植毛強度や耐熱性を必要とす
る場合があり、また外観も着色したり、形状に変
化をつけることで特異性を持たせるように努力し
ているが、より奇抜なものを求められる場合があ
る。 〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕 従来、歯ブラシは、植毛部の植毛穴部に必要な
成形精度がないと植毛穴部に設けた刷毛のウエル
ド強度が関係する耐歯磨剤性が低下しやすく、脱
毛現象が起ることもあるなど欠点があるし、前記
樹脂はいずれも熱伝動率は小さく、特に歯ブラシ
ハンドルのように厚肉成形品であると、冷却時間
を多く費やすし、成形条件即ち成形サイクルの短
縮化がはかりにくいし、ヒケの発生も多いと共
に、植毛穴部分に必要な成形精度やウエルド強度
が維持できないほか植毛時又は耐歯磨剤性でクラ
ツクが発生しやすいし、殊に歯ブラシは、熱湯又
は煮沸して殺菌消毒することがあり、熱に暴され
ると変形、変質や、植毛強度が劣化するなど耐熱
性に劣るため問題となることがあつた。 〔発明の目的〕 本発明は、これら従来のものの諸欠点を除去
し、品質上も成形プロセス上にも著しく良好で、
植毛穴部に必要な成形精度が得られ、ウエルド強
度を大きくし、残留応力も少なくし、植毛強度を
著しく高め、かつ植毛部での耐熱性並びに耐歯磨
剤性をも向上できる特性の優れた歯ブラシを提供
することを目的とするものである。 〔発明の構成〕 本発明は、刷毛を植設する植毛穴のある頭部を
持つたハンドルが熱可塑性合成樹脂に、粒径0.1
〜0.3mmの大きさの着色若しくは無着色のアルミ
ニウム粉末を0.1〜0.5重量%の範囲で配合したも
のから加熱形成され、植毛強度を高めた頭部に植
毛部を設けた歯ブラシとしたことを特徴とするも
のである。 この場合、用いられる熱可塑性合成樹脂として
は、アクリロニトリルスチレン樹脂やセルロース
プロピオネート樹脂、アクリロニトリル・ブタジ
エンスチレン樹脂、ポリエチレンテレフタレート
樹脂、ポリプロピレン樹脂など単独又は2種以上
組合配合した樹脂組成物として用いることができ
る。 また前記アルミニウム粉末(以下A粉末)は
顔料で適宜例えばゴールド調、シルバー調その他
着色したもの又は着色しないで、そのままの粉末
例えば0.2mm×0.3mm×0.01〜0.015mmの大きさの細
片状粉末を単独又は組合わせて、前記透明樹脂に
対して0.1〜0.5重量%の範囲で混合し、一緒に成
形を行えばよい。なお0.5重量%以上の配合量だ
と密になりすぎて植毛部の頭部が脆くなり植毛穴
の間隔を小さくできなく、クラツク数も多くなつ
て耐歯磨剤性が悪くなるし、入光も減り、反射効
果が大幅に減つて汚らしくなり、また、0.1重量
%以下の範囲では品質上植毛強度敵に問題がある
し、フアンシー調にも奇抜さがなくなるので避け
るべきである。またA粉末粒径が0.1mm未満で
はゴマ塩を散りばめた程度の感じで、外観的にも
よくない上に、耐熱性も反射効果もなく、3.0mm
を超えると、射出成形時にA粉末が変形して、
まるまつてしまい植毛強度や光の反射効果が劣る
ので好ましくない。 なお形状としては箔状、角状、粒状のいずれで
も用いられ、殊にこのA粉末につける色調は、
好みの色をつけたものを一種又は二種以上配合し
て透明樹脂乃至半透明樹脂と一緒に成形し、歯ブ
ラシハンドル内部に色を散りばめた例えばランダ
ムに或いは積層的に配列してフアンシー調を出せ
ばよく、該粉末が樹脂より熱伝導率(AS:2.9×
10-4・A:0.53cal/s・cm・℃)がよく成形
プロセス時の冷却時間を短くできると共に、ヒケ
も少なく植毛適正・耐歯磨剤性の品質に関し樹脂
単体により大幅に向上できる。 これらは、樹脂成形射出充填時に混入散りばめ
られたA粉末の熱が樹脂側へ伝わり、特に植毛
部のウエルド部分が密着しやすくなつて、植毛穴
部のウエルド強度が大きくなり、残留応力も少な
くなるためであり、その結果植毛時又は耐歯磨剤
性のクラツク発生も少なくなる。 なおA粉末は、マスターバツチ方法やカラー
ペレツトによる方法では、予め樹脂中に練り込ん
でおくために細かくなりやすいので、その辺の考
慮が必要である。 〔実施例〕 アクリロニトリルスチレン樹脂(AS樹脂)1
〔タイリル783:旭化成〕にゴールド調の顔料を付
着させたA粉末2〔大日本インキ化学〕を0.3
重量%混合し、次の条件で歯ブラシのハンドル部
3及び植毛部4の基部を射出成形した。なお射出
