[Detailed description of the invention] [Field of industrial application] This invention is used as a cover for storing agricultural products, especially for preserving agricultural products such as sugar beets piled up in the open after harvesting, yams and potatoes buried in the soil. This relates to agricultural product storage covers.

Conventionally, plain weave fabrics woven from flat yarns in the diameter and weft have been generally used as covers for storing agricultural products of this type, but as is well known, these agricultural products are made from vegetables harvested in the autumn in northern countries. Crops are stored buried in the ground or dug out and piled up in the open with a cover until the following spring. However, because the covered soil has poor heat retention, agricultural products stored during severe cold weather are This resulted in adverse effects such as frostbite, and the storage effect that was originally intended could not be achieved.

Therefore, instead of the above-mentioned cover, a cover made of a fabric woven with foamed spread yarn, which has excellent heat retention properties, has been used. Because they require stacking, handling such as covering them has become very complicated.

Previously, we proposed a cover for storing agricultural products, in which front and back fabrics woven using wefts are layered to form a predetermined gap, and the front and back fabrics are tied together with a binding thread. If the piles of agricultural products are highly undulating, there is a problem in that the empty area swells near the bent part of the cover, making it impossible to obtain the initial objective of an empty area with excellent heat retention. Ta.

This invention was devised to eliminate the drawbacks of the conventional products described above, and aims to provide a cover for storing agricultural products that has excellent heat retention as well as ease of handling.

This invention was devised in view of the above, and is made by layering the front and back fabrics woven using rigid foamed spread yarns as diameter and weft threads. In a cover for storing agricultural products, which is made by binding with a binding yarn, there is a width of 3 to 3 in the longitudinal direction or width direction between the front and back fabrics.
This cover for storing agricultural products is characterized by having a plurality of 15 cm empty sections connected in parallel with a binding thread.

[Example] The following is an example of this invention shown in the drawings.
To explain in more detail, FIG. 1 is a partially cutaway perspective view showing an embodiment of the agricultural product storage cover of this invention, and FIG. 2 is a partially enlarged sectional view of the same. 3 is a front and back fabric woven by using 3000 denier expanded polypropylene foam yarns in the diameter and weft at a ratio of 10 threads/1 inch, and 3 is a layered front and back fabric 1. , 2 is a hollow part along the longitudinal direction formed between 2, and 13 empty parts with a width of 15 cm are arranged in parallel in the width direction, 4 is a layered front fabric, lining fabric 1, It is a binding thread formed by binding two pieces of fabric 1 together, and a part of the thread-like surface fabric 1 is also tied together.

In addition, numeral 5 in the figure is an ear edge formed on both side edges of the cover, and eyelet 6 is provided on the ear edge 5 at a predetermined interval.
In addition, as the foamed spread yarn, it is preferable to use a polypropylene foamed spread yarn with a fineness of 1200 to 4000 deniers in order to impart rigidity to the front and back fabrics 1 and 2. Lining fabric 1,
2 is preferably about 3.6 m wide and 300 m long, and a synthetic resin sheet 7 as shown in Fig. 2 is provided on one side of the front fabric 1 or the lining fabric 2 for the purpose of blocking cold air. It is preferable to use a layered material.

As shown in Figure 4, the cover area for storing agricultural products of this invention has a width of 10 m, a height of 3 m, and a length of 200 m.
It is used by covering the top surface of agricultural products A that are piled up in the open so as to maintain a certain level, and fixing the cover by driving wedges into the eyelets 6 provided on the edges 5 of the side edges of the cover. .

The cover material for storing agricultural products of this invention is made by layering the front and back fabrics, which are woven with rigid foamed spread yarns as diameter and weft threads, and the binding threads are made of a thread-like part of the front and back fabrics or inserted yarns. In a agricultural product storage cover made by tying together, there is a space between the front and back fabrics with a width of 3 to 15 cm along the longitudinal direction or width direction.
Since the structure is made up of a plurality of parts connected together with a binding thread so that they are arranged in parallel, two layers of cover can be covered at the same time without shifting, and moreover, while maintaining a predetermined gap. Not only does the work of hanging the sheet improve, but the insulation properties of the foamed spread yarn itself allows for a gap of 3 to 15 cm in width between the front and back fabrics.
This product has features not seen in conventional products, such as the heat insulation properties of multiple rows of open spaces arranged in parallel, which together maintain a constant level of heat retention without being affected by the ups and downs of piles of agricultural products piled up in the open. It has the following characteristics.
