Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an electric connection device equipped with a removal protective function with which a standard type plug can be used by providing a locking means connected with a feed pole and penetrating a hole formed in a receiving pole when it is in contact with it for energization for stopping the receiving pole. CONSTITUTION:A lock lever 6 is positioned at an upper end, and a receiving pole 2 of a plug 1 is inserted into a pole insertion port 4 of a receptacle 3 to make energization possible. When the lock lever 6 is pulled down in a direction D at this time, a lock metal 9 penetrates a hole in a contact 8 of a feed pole 7, and a round hole 5 in the receiving pole 2 through a connection mechanism to let its forward end supported and fixed at a receiving metal 11. In this constitution, a removal protective function can be provided using the standard plug 1, thereby removal of the plug 1 can be prevented securely.

Next, the operation will be described. First, as shown in FIG. 1, the lock lever 6 is set at the upper end position, and in this state, the plug 1 is moved in the direction of A in the figure to insert the receiving electrode 2 into the pole insertion port 4 of the outlet 3. The lock lever 6 and the lock fitting 9 are connected by a coupling mechanism (not shown), and when the lock lever 6 is at its upper end position, the lock fitting 9 is at the position shown in FIG. 2 (1). Then, when the plug 1 is pushed further in the direction of A, the contacts 8 of the feed electrode 7 come into contact with each other so as to sandwich the receiving electrode 2 of the plug 1 and the state becomes energizable (Fig. 2 (2 )).

Here, as shown in FIG. 1, when the lock lever 6 is operated and pulled down in the direction D, the lock fitting 9 is moved in the direction E shown in FIG. 2B through the above-mentioned connecting mechanism. The tip of the lead-through contactor 8 is passed through the hole of the contactor 8, the round hole 5 of the receiving electrode 2, and the hole of the contactor 8 to be fixedly supported by the receiving metal fitting 11 (FIG. 2C). This ensures that the plug 1 is prevented from falling off. When the plug 1 is to be removed, first, the lock device is released, that is, when the lock lever 6 is pulled up to the upper end position, the lock metal fitting 9 is retracted to the left (FIG. 2 (2)), and the plug 1 is freed. Then, it is ready to be pulled out from the outlet 3. In FIG. 1, the lock lever 6 is shown as a slide type in which it is operated in the vertical direction, but it may be a slide type in which it is operated in the horizontal direction or a push method. Further, the leaf spring 10 may be a coiled spring.

FIG. 3 is a sectional view showing an electrical connecting device according to a second embodiment of the present invention. In this structure, a spring 12 is provided, and the stored force urges the pair of feed electrodes 7 inward. Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the contactor 8 provided at the center of the supply electrode 7 is formed such that the upper half thereof is substantially horizontal and the lower half thereof has a predetermined inclination. Therefore, in the state where the plug 1 and the outlet 3 are separated, the pair of contacts 8 are in contact with each other, and when the receiving electrode 2 is inserted from the pole insertion port 4 in this state, the tip of the receiving electrode 2 is The lower half of the contactor 8 is spread out so that the feeding electrode 7 holds the receiving electrode 2 from both sides, so that the two can be electrically contacted. When the plug 1 is inserted to a predetermined position, the tip position of the contactor 8 coincides with the position of the round hole 5 of the receiving electrode 2, and the contactor 8 is fitted into the round hole 5 and is automatically locked.
Since the upper half of the contactor 8 is formed substantially horizontally, it does not easily fall off. To release the lock mechanism, a trip lever (not shown) in place of the lock lever 6 is used to overcome the stored force of the spring 12 and separate the contactor 8.
