[Detailed Description of the Invention] <Industrial Application Field> The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing decorative sheets, in which the printed pattern portion containing a liquid repellent completely repels the top coat applied afterwards, and improves visual and tactile properties. The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a decorative sheet that gives an uneven feel (roughness) to the surface.

<Conventional technology and its problems> Research on so-called repellency patterns using liquid repellents has been conducted for a long time, as described below, and looking at the background, it has been found that sufficient repellency effects cannot be obtained with the addition of liquid repellents alone. Since then, attempts have been made to add absorbents and matting agents to improve the effectiveness.

However, since all of these proposals are characterized by applying the top coat over the entire surface, the repelled top coat builds up in a convex shape around the printed pattern containing the liquid repellent, for example, creating a conduit in a wood grain pattern. It was found that the wood gave an unnatural appearance and damaged the wood feel.

In other words, for this type of decorative sheet, (1) using printing ink with a repellent added, the printing process is combined with a regular topcoat, and unevenness is formed on the topcoat surface while the printed pattern is perfectly synchronized; Printed plywood with an uneven pattern that makes the printed pattern appear three-dimensional (Utility Model Publication No. 47-16629).

However, with either of these methods, it is difficult to obtain a clear repellent effect, or the excess topcoat paint that is repelled builds up around the pattern containing the liquid repellent, especially in the case of conduit expression of wood grain patterns. The paint repelled by the conduit pattern containing the liquid repellent becomes a large bulge, giving an unnatural finish that lacks the wood feel. There were disadvantages such as the upward side being felt, and because the amount of the liquid repellent was small in the thin areas of the printed pattern, the repellency was insufficient and as a result, sharp unevenness could not be expressed.

<Means for solving the problem> According to the above method, the substances added in addition to the liquid repellent are silica, alumina, calcium carbonate, etc., which are conventionally known as ink matting agents, and the particles are generally It is small, less than 10μ, so it does not feel rough in the intended recess, and even if it is combined with the action of an absorbent, the liquid repellent added originally has an effect, so it will build up unnaturally around it. It is natural to feel that there is a problem with additives other than liquid repellents and the overall coating of the top coat, and as a result of research to solve this problem, we have arrived at the present invention.

That is, the method for producing a decorative sheet of the present invention involves printing a pattern on a base sheet using ordinary printing ink,
Next, a desired pattern is printed on top of it using ink mixed with a liquid repellent and fiber powder, and then a top coat is applied using a blank plate that does not cover only the center of the desired pattern. It is characterized by the following.

In this invention, the term "blank plate" refers to a plate on which paint or ink is not applied (does not adhere) only to the part where the cutouts are made, and here, it is the same size as the desired pattern previously printed, that is, the desired pattern. This is not a version that does not cover the entire handle, but a blank version that does not cover only the center of the desired handle.

Unlike the tweezers used in the past, when the desired pattern is a conduit in woodgrain printing, a piece of exactly the same size as the conduit is removed.
This uses a blank plate with a piece smaller than the conduit cut out so that it bites into the inner periphery of the conduit. For example, it is a blank version with a conduit groove pattern that is about 30% narrower than the conduit groove pattern.

In addition, for patterns other than wood grain, for example, in a floral tile pattern, if the desired pattern is between the joints and the floral pattern, the blank plate used is 30 mm wider than the width of the tile joints and the floral pattern. % This is a blank version with narrow strokes.

In each of the following examples, it is also mentioned that resin coating is performed using a blank plate. This is a method in which the entire surface of the handle is painted without being coated only in the center of the handle.

As an additive to give a feeling of roughness,
The problem is the specific gravity, shape and size of the particles,
Preferably, the particle size is 15μ or more. Well-known hollow particles such as glass beads and glass balloons can be considered, but in consideration of ink dispersion, precipitation, and abrasiveness, softer fiber powders such as cellulose powder, wood powder, and cotton powder, which have a lower specific gravity, may be used. is valid.

In order to obtain a rough feeling, it is possible to increase the size of the particles of the conventional matting agent, but the specific gravity is large, the dispersibility is poor, precipitation phenomenon occurs more, and because of the hiding power, it becomes cloudy. The disadvantages are that the desired color of the conduit groove cannot be obtained, and because of its hardness, the doctor blade is difficult to cut during gravure printing, resulting in doctor streaks appearing on printed matter and easily damaging the doctor blade, plate, etc.

On the other hand, fiber powder has a low specific gravity, does not cloud the ink, and is soft, so the above-mentioned disadvantages are unlikely to occur, and it is of great significance as an additive for obtaining a rough texture.

However, in the present invention, mixing a normal particulate matting agent into the ink containing a liquid repellent agent does not cause the above-mentioned drawbacks, although the effect of conduit expression may be further enhanced.

Next, as a method for smoothing the repelling action and suppressing the build-up around the repellent, the painted plate, which is the greatest feature of this invention, is a blank plate that slightly enters the inner periphery of the pattern printed with liquid repellent ink. As described above, this invention prints a pattern on a base sheet using ordinary printing ink, and then coats it with a known liquid repellent such as silicone or wax and a particle size of 15μ or more to give it a rough feel. , and print the desired pattern with ink mixed with fiber powder of low specific gravity, and then apply a topcoat on top of it with a blank plate that slightly digs into the inner periphery of the pattern, or in other words, removes the central part of the pattern. As a result, it is possible to obtain a decorative sheet that forms complete concave portions as desired and has roughness in the concave portions, visually and tactilely.
