Abstract

PURPOSE:To make simple manufacture of a cancellation coil and control thereof, by providing magnetic core portions for leakage field cancellation coils on the deflection yoke core. CONSTITUTION:This deflection yoke core 11 is provided, on the outer peripheral surface thereof at the large-diameter side, with a pair of magnetic core portions 11a, 11b for leakage field cancellation coil. Since the deflection yoke core 11 is of such a structure, the cancellation coil can be integrated, as an auxiliary item of parts, with the deflection yoke by mounting the cancellation coils 13a, 13b to the magnetic core portions 11a, 11b. This makes simple and easy the manufacture of the cancellation coil and the control thereof.
