Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the heat resistance, bending resistance, and wear resistance of an insulated cable (p). CONSTITUTION:A flexible conductor (a) is formed of a copper alloy excellent in bending resistance and never inferior in conductivity, compared with pure copper, which alloy contains 0.02-0.7wt.% of Fe, 15-80wt.% of P to Fe, 0.01-0.5wt.% of Zr and Ir independently or in the total amount, and the remainder of copper. A sheath (b) is formed of a mixture obtained by kneading a polyether or polycarbonate polyurethane elastomer and a fluorine elastomer based on polyvinylidene fluoride within the range of 30/70-90/10 by weight and adding 1-9 PHR of a cross-linking agent thereto. The weight ratio is preferably 30/70-70/30, and the cross-linking agent is added in 3-7 PHR.

[Technical background] Control wires for elevators and cranes
Cables, electric wires / cables for electric power supply, electric wires / cables for robots (hereinafter simply referred to as electric wires), etc. are required to have bending resistance and abrasion resistance depending on the usage conditions. When this electric wire is used in a high temperature environment, heat resistance is required in addition to the above-mentioned characteristics.

Many of these properties are owed to the resin mixture forming the outer cover, but usually, most of the resin mixtures utilize the properties of the base polymer while complementing other properties. Various substances are added to. Most of these additives improve the properties of one of them, but most of them give the effect of reducing the properties of the other. Therefore, under such circumstances, it is difficult to obtain an insulated electric wire with a jacket that satisfies the various required characteristics as described above.

The weight ratio of TPU / F-TPE is preferably 30/70 to 70/30, and the crosslinking agent is preferably 3 to 7 PHR. If the weight ratio is out of the above range, the advantages of TPU and F-TPE cannot be utilized, and the defects are exposed. That is, when TPU is increased, heat resistance, water resistance, and electric insulation are deteriorated. Further, when the amount of F-TPE is large, extrusion processability and mechanical properties deteriorate. On the other hand, when TPU is low, wear resistance, tensile strength and elasticity in a wide temperature range cannot be expected. F

By the way, the insulated electric wire is twisted together with the interposition,
When the insulation core wire is made by press-wrapping and the sheath is applied on the core wire to make a cable, if the slipperiness of the above surface is reduced, the slippage between the insulation core wires will also be reduced, so that the cable itself is flexible. And flex resistance are reduced.

When the amount of the crosslinking agent is less than the above range,
It is not possible to obtain desired physical properties such as tensile strength, hardness, heat deformation resistance, and elongation. On the contrary, when the amount of the crosslinking agent is large, it becomes over-crosslinked, the hardness becomes high, the heat aging resistance and the flexibility deteriorate, and the crosslinking agent blooms to deteriorate the appearance.

In the insulated wire of the present invention constructed as described above, first, a copper alloy having the above-mentioned compositions I to IV forming a flexible conductor is bent as described in JP-A-62-214144. It has excellent properties and is comparable in conductivity to pure copper. For example, in fatigue characteristics, bending strain of 0.
Under the condition of 306%, the number of bending and bending of the above copper alloy wire was about 161,000 times, whereas that of pure copper wire was about 43,000 times, which was about 1/4, and the bending strain was 0.22%. Under the above conditions, the copper alloy wire: 31.5 million times or more, the pure copper wire: about 1193 thousand times, about 1/260 or less, and the bending strain of 0.18%,
The copper alloy wire: 62 million times or more, pure copper wire: about 21.8
It is less than about 1/280 times.
