That is, a tungsten filament (not shown since the tubular glass bulb is not transparent) sealed inside the tubular glass bulb 1 made of quartz glass or the like along the tube axis is flattened at both ends of the tubular glass bulb 1. It is connected to an external lead 3 via a molybdenum foil (not shown) sealed in the sealing part 2 . The external lead 3 forms a lead member having a structure as shown in FIG. 6, for example. That is, an external lead 3 led out from the crushing sealing part 2 and a conducting wire 5 having an insulating coating 4 are arranged in parallel, and the tip of the conducting wire 5 is connected by welding or the like by covering the external lead 3 with a nickel sleeve 6 or the like. . On the other hand, the tip of the external lead 3 is covered with a sleeve 7 together with the conducting wire 5, and is caulked and connected by welding or the like, so that it will not break even if an external force is applied to the connection point. Furthermore, a lead member 9 is constructed by moving an insulating tube 8 in the direction of the arrow and covering this connection portion. The cap member 10 consists of a cap piece 11 and a cap cap 13, and the cap member 11 is arranged on one side of the crushing sealing part 2, and the cap cap 13 is arranged on the other surface.
The claw 14 formed on the cap piece 11 is engaged with the notch of the mouth cap 13, and then the claw 14 is bent inward so that the cap piece 11 and the mouth cap 13 sandwich the crushing sealing part 2. Fixed. The lead member 9 is placed on the cap member 10, and the insulating tube 8 is fastened by caulking the clamping claws 15 of the stator 12 of the cap piece 11 from above the insulating tube 8.

In the conventional configuration as described above, the crush sealing portion 2 side of the insulating tube 8 is cut off at right angles to the axis of the insulating tube 8, so that the crush sealing portion 2 side is cut off at right angles to the axis of the insulating tube 8, so that the crush sealing portion 2 side is cut off at right angles to the axis of the insulating tube 8. If the tip of the portion 2 is not formed perpendicular to the axis, the tip of the insulating tube 8 will not move to a position other than the position where it abuts the crush sealing portion 2, so the external lead 3 will not be covered by the insulating tube 8 and will be exposed. There is a possibility that 16 will remain.

If the tip of the crushed sealing part 2 mentioned above was not formed perpendicular to the axis, a method was used in which the tip of the sealing part was cut with a grinder at right angles to the axis, but this increased the number of manufacturing steps. However, the work was difficult, and furthermore, there were problems in that the number of defects such as chipping and cracking of the sealing end increased.

This invention was made to solve the above problems, and is electrically safe because it does not expose the external leads, and also requires a process of cutting the tip of the crush sealing part with a grinder or the like. To provide an improved tube-shaped light bulb that is free from defects and has fewer defects due to processing.

FIG. 1 is a partially cutaway front view of a tube-shaped infrared light bulb of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is an enlarged front view of one end of the bulb. A tungsten filament is sealed inside along the tube axis, and its ends are connected to external leads via molybdenum foil (not shown) sealed in flat crushed sealing parts 18, 18 at both ends of the tube-shaped glass bulb 17. It is connected to the. The above tungsten filament is a tube-shaped glass bulb 17
is not shown because it is colored red by the copper layer deposited on its inner surface and is not transparent. Conductive wires 19, 19 are connected to the external leads in a structure as shown in FIG. 6 to constitute a lead member 20. The lead member 20 is covered with an insulating tube 21.

The insulating tube 21 is provided with a cutout end 22 at its end, as shown in the front view in FIG. When capped, as shown in Figure 4, the tube-shaped glass bulb 1 is
It can be mounted across the upper and lower surfaces of the crush sealing portion 18 of No. 7. Therefore, even if the tip of the crushing sealing part 18 is not formed perpendicular to the axis, the external lead of the lead member 20 will not be covered by the insulating tube 21 and will not be exposed. It goes without saying that the shape of the cutout of the cutout end 22 may be V-shaped as shown in FIG. 3, or U-shaped, U-shaped, or the like.

The present invention has a lead wire member in which an external lead led out from a crush sealing portion at the end of a tubular glass bulb containing a tungsten filament is covered with an insulating tube, and the lead wire member is sealed in the crush seal. In a tube-shaped light bulb that is engaged with a cap member fixed to a portion, the insulating tube has a notched end formed therein, the notched end sandwiching the crushed sealing portion;
Since the structure does not expose the conductor near the crushed sealing part, the external lead of the lead member is not exposed from the tip of the crushing sealing part, so it is electrically safe and prevents corrosion of the external lead. There is little breakage, there is no need to cut the tip of the crushed sealing part, and there is no increase in manufacturing man-hours, so it has the effect that a safe tube-shaped light bulb can be manufactured at low man-hours.
