As shown in FIG. 3, in the conventional telescopic lighting tower, the distal support columns 2 and 3 are sequentially inserted into the proximal support column 1 so that they can be expanded and retracted, and the proximal support column 1 is inserted into the base 4.
It consists of a telescopic column 5 that stands upright in a substantially vertical manner, and an illumination light 7 that is attached via an illumination light fixture 6 to the tip of the column 3 on the most distal side of the extensible column 5. An appropriate telescopic drive device, such as a hydraulic cylinder (not shown), is interposed between each of the telescopic pillars 5. The telescoping lighting tower configured in this manner is designed to elongate the telescoping support 5 at dusk or at night when illumination is required, and illuminate it with the lighting lamp 7 placed at the tip of the telescoping support 5, and during the daytime when no illumination is required. The telescopic column 5 is reduced in size for compact storage.

(Problems with the prior art) However, the retractable lighting tower usually has a height of several meters even when it is scaled down, so the lighting lights 7 are not suitable for areas with low trees, such as a newly constructed golf course. Conspicuous (detracts from the landscape). Moreover, even if it is covered with trees, sunlight will be reflected by the reflective surface of the illumination lamp 7, making it a nuisance. Furthermore, in the event that a malfunction occurs such as a burnout of the light bulb 7, it will not be possible to repair the malfunction unless appropriate scaffolding is erected near the retractable light tower or an aerial work vehicle is prepared. There was a problem.

(Function) The retractable lighting tower of the present invention configured as described above has the following features:
When the telescoping strut is contracted, the most distal end of the telescoping strut accommodates the proximal strut, so the illumination light is movably attached to the distal end strut along the longitudinal direction of the telescoping strut. The fixture can be lowered close to the ground.

As shown in FIG. 1, the telescoping lighting tower of the present invention has pillars 12 and 13 on the distal side in order from outside the base pillar 11.
is telescopically fitted to the outside and the proximal end support 11 is attached to the base 1.
4, a telescoping column 15 erected substantially vertically on the telescopic column 15, a lighting fixture 16 movably attached to the most distalmost column 13 of the telescoping column 15 along the longitudinal direction of the column, and a lighting fixture. It consists of a lighting lamp 17 arranged on a fixture 16. The illumination light fixture 16 is composed of a cylindrical portion 18 that is slidably fitted onto the pillar 13 on the most distal side, and an illumination light mounting arm 20 that is attached to a bracket 19 provided on the cylindrical portion 18. has been done. Reference numeral 21 denotes an electric winch installed at the bracket 19 portion of the lighting fixture 16, and the tip of the wire rope 22 pulled out from the winch 21 is placed at the tip of the column 13 on the most distal side of the winch. It is fixed to a bracket 23 extending upward.
24 is an electric cable installed between the ground side and the lighting fixture 16;

This telescoping lighting tower is usually equipped with lighting fixtures 16
is used after being rolled up onto the tip of the telescopic column 15 (the tip of the column 13) using the electric winch 21. Its use is the same as the prior art telescoping light tower. When attempting to lower the lighting fixture 16 to near the ground surface, the telescopic support 15 is reduced and the electric winch 21 is wound back and driven.
The illumination light fixture 16 is lowered along the pillar 13 on the most advanced side.

In the above embodiment, the electric winch 21 is used to move the lighting fixture along the support column 13, but instead of this electric winch, a power driving means such as a hydraulic cylinder may be provided. As shown in the figure, the telescoping motion of the telescoping column 5 may be utilized. That is, as shown in FIG. 2, a pulley or chain wheel 26 is attached to a bracket 25 extending from the tip of the most distal column 13, and a wire rope or chain 27 is fixed at one end to the lighting fixture 16.
is rotated by this pulley or chain wheel 26, guided downward, and the other end is fixed to the lower end of the column 12 on the proximal end side of the column 13 on the most distal side. By doing so, the illumination light fixture 16 can move up and down on the most distal column 13 in conjunction with the expansion and contraction movement of the telescoping column 15. In this case, when the telescoping column 15 is reduced, the illumination light fixture 16 will inevitably fall close to the ground. Furthermore, the second
As shown by the broken line in the figure, a manual winch 28 is installed on the outer side of the lower end of the pillar 13 on the most distal side, and the manual winch 28 winds up the other end of the wire rope or chain 27, so that the lighting fixture 16 can be manually attached. It may be moved up and down by.

(Effects) In any case, the retractable lighting tower of the present invention allows the lighting fixture to be lowered close to the ground, so it does not disturb the scenery or prevent sunlight from being reflected on the reflective surface of the lighting. Maintenance work for lighting lights attached to lighting fixtures can be done without having to do any maintenance work.
This has the excellent effect of being able to be carried out safely on the ground without the need to build scaffolding or prepare an aerial work vehicle.
