(Prior Art and Problems) Conventionally, this type of cushioning sheet material is made of a foamed sheet of soft synthetic resin, or an air bubble with a diameter of 10 to 15 mm and a height of about 5 mm between two sheets, commonly called an air bag. A buffer sheet is used in which cushioning sheets are arranged at a pitch of 30 to 40 mm in the length and width directions of the film strip.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In this invention, both side edges of two air-impermeable synthetic resin film strips are welded to each other so that a continuous seal is formed. Discontinuous seal portions are formed distributed over the entire width of the two film bands, and a gap is formed between the two film bands to allow air to be blown;
The original fabric for cushioning material is a half-folded original fabric with one side edge being a folded edge, and the half-folded original fabric is further wound into a roll.

When used as a cushioning material, the material is folded in half and then welded and cut or welded and cut in the transverse direction at a predetermined pitch to form a bag with both sides heat-sealed, and the item to be packaged is inserted into this bag. After sealing, a suitable air syringe needle is injected into the air-blowing gaps on the front and back panels, the packaging bag is inflated with air, and the insertion opening is affixed with an air-tight label or the area is sealed. Use by heat welding and sealing.

In the case where air inlets with annular valves are attached to the original fabric at predetermined intervals, at least one air inlet with annular valves should be formed when welding and cutting or welding and cutting this in the transverse direction. Process it so that it can be placed in a bag.

(Effect) By doing this, when storing and transporting the original fabric of this invention, when supplying it to a packaging machine or a bag-making machine as a packaging fabric, it is possible to use conventional packaging materials such as a conventional semi-folded folding band. It can be handled in the same way as an obi and is not bulky at all.

Therefore, once the bag is processed, air is blown between the two films only after or before inserting the packaged item, preferably after the packaged item is placed in the bag and the opening of the bag is completely sealed. By injecting air into the possible gap, these peripheries are closed by continuous heat-sealed parts, and discontinuous heat-sealed parts are distributed in the middle part, so the two films become air mat-like and the inside of the film is closed. This has the effect of sufficiently protecting the packaged item.

(How to use and effects of the example) In Example 1, the original fabric is welded and melted across the entire width at intervals of 30 to 50 cm, for example, to form seals on both sides, depending on the size of the item to be packaged. The bags are made into side-seal type bags with 19, and the items to be packaged B are sequentially charged into these bags, and air is injected into the air-blowable gap 15, which is a double bag without sealing or not sealing the opening of the bag. This is inflated to form an air mat-like bag, and both sides of the packaged object B are protected thereby.
