The present invention relates to a display mounting structure for a laptop computer. Portable laptop computers have become popular, and because they are small and lightweight, thin liquid crystal panels (LCDs) are used for their displays. This laptop type computer is functionally the same as a desktop type computer, so if you use it on a large desk, you can also connect it to an analog RGB display that can provide high-precision display. Therefore, the liquid crystal panel is removable, and it is convenient for maintenance to be removable. When installing this removable LCD panel,
There was a need for a structure that was rotatable for easy viewing, removable, and reliable for circuit connectivity.

2 and 3 show conventional structures; in FIG. 2, the display section 1 is rotatably attached to the upper part 2 of the main body. Wiring from the display section 1 becomes a cable that passes through the upper part 2 of the main body and is pulled out from below. A connector 4 is provided at the end of the cable 3, and a lower main body 5 is formed separately.
A receiving connector 6 is provided on the motherboard of the lower part 5 of the main body, and is connected to the connector 4 of the upper part 2 of the main body. The cable 3 passes through the upper part 2 of the main body, and further above, the cable 3 is routed inside the connecting part 7 between the display part 1 and the upper part 2 of the main body with an extra length. In FIG. 3, a connector 8 is provided directly at the lower end of the display section 1, and a receiving connector 9 is rotatably attached to the separate upper part 2 of the main body. The wiring extending from the receiving connector 9 becomes a cable 3 having an extra length inside the connecting portion 10 between the receiving connector 9 and the upper part 2 of the main body, passes through the upper part 2 of the main body, and is pulled out from below. The display section 1 can be attached to and detached from the upper part 2 of the main body via connectors 8 and 9.

In the conventional structure shown in FIG. 2, a great deal of effort was required to connect the cable 3 to the lower part 5 of the main body during assembly work on the production line. Further, the cable route is not stable, and the installation of the frictional rotation mechanism of the connecting portion 7 requires the upper part 2 of the main body to be turned over, making the work difficult. Furthermore, in the case of maintenance work, the upper and lower main bodies 2 and 5 had to be disassembled, making it troublesome to remove the connectors. The structure shown in FIG. 3 has the disadvantage that connecting the cable 3 to the lower part 5 of the main body similarly requires a great deal of labor during assembly work on the production line. The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and aims to provide a display part mounting structure that can simplify the assembly work of the display part and the main body part, and facilitate maintenance work.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained based on the drawings. In Figure 1, the personal computer has a display section 1.
The display section 10 is composed of a liquid crystal display panel 11 and a connecting section 12. A coupling portion 12 is rotatably provided at the lower end of the frame of the display panel 11 . Grooves 1 spaced apart from each other are provided at the lower end of the frame of the display panel 11.
3 and 14 are formed, and the upper ends of support parts 16 and 17 of the coupling part 12 are loosely inserted into these grooves 13 and 14, respectively. Then, the remaining three lower portions 15 of the frame of the display panel 11 and each support portion 16, 17 are rotatably connected by a hollow shaft (not shown). Wiring 18 for sending signals to display panel 11 passes through the hollow shaft from within the frame, passes through one support portion 17, and is connected to connector 19. The connector 19 is provided protrudingly from the lower end surface of one of the support parts 17, and the support part 16,
The lower part of 17 is approximately a square prism. Main body part 2
0, the upper part 21 of the main body is overlapped with the lower part 22 of the main body, and the main part 21 has square holes 23, 2 with a rectangular cross section.
4 is formed. Each square hole 23, 24 passes through the upper part 21 of the main body, and a motherboard of an electronic circuit (not shown) is disposed in the lower part 22 of the main body opposite to one of the square holes 24. This motherboard is provided with a receiving connector (not shown), which can be connected to the connector 19 below the support section 17. The operation of assembling the display section 10 to the main body section 20 will be explained. One support part 16 is pushed into one square hole 23, and the other support part 17 is pushed into the other square hole 24. Then, the connector 22 is connected to a receiving connector (not shown) provided on the lower part 22 of the main body. Since each of the supporting parts 16 and 17 is deeply fitted into each of the square holes 23 and 24, the connecting part 12 is stably fixed to the upper part 21 of the main body. Since the display panel section 11 rotates with respect to the coupling section 12, it can be set at an angle that is easy to see with respect to the main body section 20. Furthermore, during maintenance, each support section 16, 17 can be extracted from each square hole 23, 24 by simply pulling up the coupling section 12 from the main body section 20. At this time, the connector 19 will also come off from the receiving connector. In this way, the assemblability and maintainability of the laptop type personal computer can be improved. Note that the connector 19 may be a concave receiving connector instead of a convex one.

As described above, according to this invention, since the rotation mechanism is provided in the display section, assembly of the display section and main body section and connection of the connectors are facilitated, and workability is improved. Similarly, the display section and the main body section can be easily separated, and maintenance workability is also improved. In addition, the display part is divided into a fixed part and a movable part relative to the main body part, and a connector is provided on the supporting part that serves as the fixed part, and a hole is provided in the main body part that serves as both a mechanical fixing support means and an electrical connection means. Therefore, simply by fitting the support portion of the display into the hole, the display portion and the main body portion can be attached and detached, and the connector can be attached and detached at the same time.
