本考案は内燃機関の油量を測定する測定装置に
関し、具体的には棒状に形成されたゲージの密封

[従来の技術]
従来、エンジンのオイルパンあるいは変速機の
オイル溜りなどにある油溜りの油量を測定するに
は、該油溜り近傍に設けたガイドパイプからゲー
ジ棒を挿入して着液しこれに刻んである目盛りの
油濡れ位置でその油量を判断しており、その構造
は棒状物に合成ゴム等の弾性体で形成したガイド

面に環状溝3を設けてこれにOリング4を装着せ
しめ、さらにこの環状溝3の下側周面を下方に拡
がるテーパー面5に形成したことを特徴としてい

の角部に押し付けられて変形し抵抗度を大きく増
加させる。ここで抜き取り抵抗の高いオイルレベ
ルゲージAとなりその固装着定を確実なものとし

上記のように本考案によれば、オイルレベルゲ
ージの挿入時には軽い嵌合力で挿入できるが、抜

防止するものである。もちろん、各構成部品の材
料は安価であつて低価格で提供でき性能低下をき
たせばその回復は極めて簡単であるなど優れた効
