略中空逆円錐形の本体にこれと間隙を有して回転
自在に収められ、前記本体の下部の吸入口に臨み
小径部を、前記本体の上部外周要部に設けた排出
口の開口部に臨み上平行部に連なる大径部をそれ
ぞれ形成する複数個の略三角形で羽根状のランナ
を有するポンプであつて、前記本体の上端部に嵌
着する蓋とモータの間に防滴カバーを覆装し、前
記本体の内部から前記蓋とランナの軸との間隙を
介して連通する開放路を該蓋の上部に設け前記本
体内部の排出口の開口部頂点は、前記大径部と水
平方向にほぼ一致するかもしくは少なくともこれ
を超えない下方に位置しており、かつ前記開口部
頂点を含む開口部端縁の上部に、本体内に突起し
た廂状の掩堤を備えたことを特徴とする排水ポン
プ。
