(Prior Art and Problems) In securities in which winning or losing is determined by numbers or patterns on lottery tickets, admission tickets, game tickets, etc., there is a risk that winning tickets may be counterfeited by tampering with these numbers or patterns.
Conventionally, these securities have been protected from counterfeiting by using background patterns, fine patterns, or printing with special inks.

That is, in this invention, a metal foil is used as an intermediate layer, paper is pasted on both sides of the metal foil, non-fluorescent paper is used as at least one of the papers, a desired printing is performed on the non-fluorescent paper surface, and the printing at least a part of the paper is printed with an ink containing a colored pigment and a fluorescent dye, and an overcoat layer made of a transparent varnish is formed on the printed part of the ink containing the fluorescent dye. A counterfeit-proof ticket characterized in that the dye is diffused from the ink-printed area to the overcoat layer and further to the metal foil in the thickness direction of the non-fluorescent paper. This is what we provide.

In the figure, 1 is a metal foil such as aluminum foil, and paper 2 (for example, non-fluorescent high-quality paper that does not contain fluorescent dye, or fluorescent paper) is pasted on the back side of the metal foil, and on the other hand, there is nothing on the front side. A fluorescent paper (for example, high-quality paper containing no fluorescent dye) 3 is pasted. An arbitrary printing layer 4 is formed on the non-fluorescent paper 3 stuck to this surface. This printing layer 4 is made of an ink containing a colored pigment (for example, carbon black or other inorganic pigment), a fluorescent dye (for example, Ubitex OB, trademark, manufactured by Ciba Geigy), and a vehicle (solvent, etc.) or a colored pigment, a fluorescent dye, and a vehicle. Printing is carried out using a letterpress method, an inkjet method, or a dot impact method using a transfer sheet having an ink layer of the following.

By adopting such a printing method, the fluorescent dye from the ink forming the printing layer 4 is relatively more diffused in the thickness direction than in the planar direction of the non-fluorescent paper 3, as shown in FIG. Layer 5 is formed. However, the diffusion of this fluorescent dye in the thickness direction is blocked by the presence of the underlying metal foil 1.
It never exceeds.

An overcoat layer 6 of transparent varnish is applied to the upper surface of this printed layer 4 so as to cover this printed layer 4. This transparent varnish is selected from a material that allows the fluorescent dye in the ink to diffuse appropriately into the transparent varnish. For example, the degree of diffusion of the fluorescent dye can be adjusted by including a solvent for the fluorescent dye in the transparent varnish, or by including the same resin component as the resin component in the ink. Therefore, as shown in the figure, a fluorescent dye diffusion layer 7 is formed in the overcoat layer 6 in both the thickness direction and the plane direction, and the printed layer 4 made of fluorescent ink is printed through the overcoat layer 6 to improve the appearance. It will appear to emit light.

The degree of diffusion or penetration of the fluorescent dye into the non-fluorescent paper 3 depends on the type of fluorescent dye, the blending ratio, and the material of the non-fluorescent paper 3, and should be selected taking these into consideration. There is a need. Naturally, the thickness of the non-fluorescent paper 3 must be such that the fluorescent dye diffusion layer 5 can be formed (diffusion in the thickness direction).

(Effect of the invention) In this way, by printing using ink containing fluorescent dye, the fluorescent dye diffusion layer 5 is formed below the printed layer 4, and at the same time, the fluorescent dye diffusion layer 7 is also formed on the overcoat layer 6. In printed tickets, the fluorescent dye diffusion layer 7 can be easily recognized in appearance, so it acts as a deterrent to counterfeiting. For example, if the original number "5" was printed using ink containing fluorescent dye, as shown in Figure 2, this would be deleted for the purpose of forgery and a new number would be printed. If the number “2” is printed on it, the fluorescent dye diffusion layer 5 with the original number “5”
remains even after removing the printed layer 4, so if we irradiate this area with a fluorescent light beam to confirm its authenticity, we will see the number "5" made of fluorescent dye as shown in Figure 2. The added number "2" will appear duplicated, making it easy to identify forgeries.

In addition, as shown in FIG. 3, the overcoat layer 6
It can also be used in so-called scratch cards, on which a peelable opaque light-shielding layer 8 is formed, so that the printing layer is completely invisible from the outside. In that case,
The intermediate metal layer 1 not only blocks penetration of the fluorescent dye, but also has the effect of hindering identification from the back side of the printed layer 4.

As detailed above, according to this invention, lottery tickets,
Forgery and falsification of tickets such as admission tickets, game tickets, and other securities can be detected very effectively, and such fraudulent acts can be prevented.
