Since the system for descrambling and canceling the copy guard by the devices and circuits after the VTR for reproduction, the distribution tape does not have a normal screen image recorded, and can have an extremely high degree of confidentiality.

Therefore, it is very efficient because it can be operated simply by adding a descrambling device and a circuit to the conventional theater system. Furthermore, scanning line transition and polarity reversal are used in combination as necessary, but both systems use a transmission system, VTR,
It has a feature that deterioration of restored image quality due to incomplete characteristics of a projector or the like is unlikely to occur.

It is a block diagram until it is converted into a tape for TR and is shown in a video theater. Although the entire configuration is almost the same as the conventional system, a polarity reversing circuit 2C is added to the output portion of the telecine device 2, and a circuit 12a for reversing the polarity is added inside the projector. In this system configuration, after performing telecine from the motion picture film 1, polarity inversion was performed. This copy guard processing is preferably performed after color correction, but may be performed before color correction. This polarity reversal is the reversal of the waveform of the video signal excluding the sync signal, and the screen becomes a screen corresponding to the negative of a photograph with respect to the regular screen. Although the copy guard release processing is performed in the projector 11 which is considered to be the most preferable, when it is performed in the selector 9 or the ED / WD digital scan converter 10, the confidentiality is slightly lowered, but a monitor can be installed on the contrary. Had the advantage.

By releasing the guard, a highly confidential copy guard system and copy guard system were realized. (Embodiment 2) In the system configuration of (FIG. 2), the copy guard process was performed at the stage of copying from the master tape 4 to the distribution tape 7, and the copy guard release process was performed at the controller output portion. As the copy guard processing here, scrambling was applied by the scanning line transfer method. Reference numeral 30 is a scrambler for applying this scramble, and 31 is a descrambler.

Divide into blocks of 0 line or 60 lines. The generation of these two types of blocks is randomized, and the scanning lines within each block are also randomized. This can make it difficult to decipher the block boundaries. In this case, the scramble key is added during the vertical blanking period, and the descrambler side restores based on this key. Also, since scrambling is performed while maintaining the synchronization signal, D / A conversion is performed after scrambling.
It can be recorded on the M2VTR as it is. Furthermore, the transmission of the video signal in this part is performed by Y (luminance signal) and P B , P R.
The component signal (color difference signal) is used. On the other hand, the video signal transmitted to the projector in the theater is also composed of component signals of Y (luminance signal) and P B and P R (color difference signals).

FIG. 3 shows a configuration of the scanning line transferred image restoration device. The replacement of the scanning lines is performed by digitizing an image and then writing it in the memory 21 by designating an address by a random number controlled by a scramble key. Therefore, when performing scrambling, the reverse order has been taken so that the order of the scanning lines is restored when such processing is performed on the receiving side.
In the copy guard system as described above, the scramble can be applied, the VTR can be recorded and reproduced as it is, and the extremely high copy guard can be realized.

Is a system that reproduces in a scrambled state while maintaining at least the synchronizing signal of the video signal and descrambles it with a device and a circuit after the VTR for reproduction to release the copy guard. Since the image on the screen is not recorded, it can have an extremely high degree of confidentiality.
