Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a car washing machine which can make high-pressure washing simply with addition of a facility of lowest cost by making high- pressure washing to wash out sand and mud from a vehicle body with high- pressure water before brush washing, in a car washing machine which is provided with a rotating brush in a portal type car washing machine main body reciprocating over the car to wash the car body. CONSTITUTION:In a car washing machine, when a main body 1 is moved forward, high-pressure water is discharged on either of the upper and side surfaces of a vehicle body to make a first high-pressure washing before brush washing is made using rotating brushes 3 and 4, and when the main body 1 is moved backward, high-pressure water is discharged on the other surface to make a second high-pressure washing.

2. Description of the Related Art Generally, in this type of device, a rotating brush acts on the body of an automobile. Therefore, if the vehicle is washed with sand or mud adhered to it, the brush scrubs the sand or mud onto the body of the vehicle and the coated surface of the body is covered. There is a risk of scratching. Therefore, for example, JP-A-60-174350 and JP-A-62-46745.
As disclosed in the publication, a car wash device has been proposed in which high pressure water is used to wash away sand and mud on a vehicle body before cleaning with a brush.

By the way, when carrying out such a car wash, it is necessary to wash at least the upper surface and the side surface of the vehicle on which the brush is applied with high-pressure water, which is high enough to drop sand or mud sufficiently. The water pressure must be discharged from a large number of fountains, which requires a pump device having an extremely high capacity, resulting in a large cost increase of the car wash machine.

According to the present invention, there is provided a car wash machine for washing a car body, comprising a sprinkler nozzle and a rotating brush in a main body of a car wash machine which reciprocates so as to straddle a car. A high-pressure pump for generating high-pressure water, which is provided separately from the pump that sends water to the nozzle, a first high-pressure water nozzle that mainly discharges water to the upper surface of the vehicle body, and a second high-pressure water nozzle that mainly discharges water to the side surface of the vehicle body. A high-pressure water nozzle, a switching means for switching the water supply from the high-pressure pump to a first high-pressure water nozzle or a second high-pressure water nozzle, and a first or a first route when the main body moves forward prior to brush cleaning using the rotating brush. A means for controlling the second high-pressure water nozzle to discharge water from one of the second high-pressure water nozzles to perform the first high-pressure cleaning, and to discharge the water from the other high-pressure water nozzle to perform the second high-pressure cleaning at the time of subsequent main body return. Equipment Te, in which attempted to solve the above problems.

When the brush cleaning and the lower part cleaning are completed, the main body 1 moves to the third outward trip, and the nozzles 5 and 8 dedicated to water are used.
Waxing is performed by operating the rotary brushes 3, 4 and 4 while spraying more rinse water and wax water from the wax nozzle 7, respectively (third forward step).

As described above, in this embodiment, when the car wash accompanied by the input of the high pressure washing key 75 is executed, the high pressure water nozzle 11 performs the high pressure washing of the upper surface of the vehicle body with the first traveling of the main body 1. At the time of the subsequent return trip, high-pressure water nozzles 12 and 12 perform high-pressure cleaning on the side surface of the vehicle body, and then normal course car-washing is executed. As a result, the high-pressure water from the high-pressure pump 32 can be concentrated on the upper surface and the side surfaces of the vehicle body, respectively, and the sand and mud on the vehicle body can be reliably removed before the course car wash involving brush cleaning. In addition, the high pressure pump 32
Is used not only for the above-mentioned high-pressure cleaning, but also for cleaning the lower part of the vehicle body by the lower cleaning device 20 in the subsequent steps, and for supplementary cleaning of the tire part and the like using the gun nozzle 13 after car cleaning, which is effectively utilized.

In the above embodiment, "high pressure cleaning of the upper surface of the vehicle body"-"high pressure cleaning of the side surface of the vehicle body"-"normal car wash course" are carried out in this order. High-pressure cleaning "may be performed in this order.

As is apparent from the above embodiment, the present invention is performed by the high-pressure pump because the upper surface cleaning and the side surface cleaning of the automobile body are separately performed when the car washer is moving forward and when it is returning. The high-pressure water can be concentrated on the upper surface or the side surface, and even a small pump with a limited discharge amount can obtain a high cleaning effect and can be constructed at low cost. In addition, the high-pressure cleaning is completed in a unit process in which the car wash machine reciprocates once, and after that, it is sufficient to continue brush cleaning as is conventionally done, and the high-pressure cleaning can be performed without making a large change to the operation program of the existing car wash machine. A cleaning function can be added.

1. A car washer for washing an automobile body, comprising a water spray nozzle and a rotating brush in a main body of a car wash machine that reciprocates across an automobile, and is separate from a pump for supplying water to the water spray nozzle. A high-pressure pump for generating high-pressure water, a first high-pressure water nozzle that mainly discharges water to the upper surface of the vehicle body, and a second high-pressure water nozzle that mainly discharges water to the side surface of the vehicle body.
High pressure water nozzle, switching means for switching the water supply from the high pressure pump to the first high pressure water nozzle or the second high pressure water nozzle, and the first when the main body moves forward prior to brush cleaning using the rotating brush. Alternatively, the first high-pressure washing is performed by discharging water from either one of the second high-pressure water nozzles,
When the main body continues to return, water is discharged from the other high-pressure water nozzle to the second position.
And a means for controlling to perform high-pressure cleaning of the car wash machine.
