Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a printer on which a printing head is mounted for materializing a conventional cooling function enabling highly-frequent continuous printing in a further reduced size and at lower cost. CONSTITUTION:A printer is constituted of a printing head 10 wherein it is controlled by an electric machine's signal and printing action is accompanied by heating, a shaft 20 fixed to the rear of the printing head 10, a fan 31 having a plurality of blades wherein they are turnable centering around the shaft 20 and possess the same rotary center as that of a fan driving gear 32 and an air blasting function and the fan driving gear 32 and the fan 31 are in monolithic structure, and a rack 41 which is geared with the fan driving gear 32 and a cog is arranged in a moving direction of the printing head 10.

体の消費電流の増加と電磁モータ分のコストアップも大
きな問題である。本発明は以上の課題を解決するために
成されたものであり、その目的とする所は従来技術によ
って達成された高頻度連続印字を可能とする冷却機能を
さらに小型かつ安価に実現する印字ヘッドを搭載したプ
リンタを提供することにある。

字ヘッド10を搭載したキャリッジ、70はキャリッジ
50の移動方向のガイドの役目を成すガイド軸である。

心を共有する歯車部材を有しさらに送風機能を有した形
状の羽を複数枚有したファン部材と、前記歯車部材と噛
合し前記印字ヘッドの往復移動方向に歯を配したラック
部材とから構成されることを特徴とするプリンタ。
