The pole holding hole 2 of the pole holding member 2 is formed so as to protrude from the pole holding member 2 into which the contact 3 is inserted and held.
An engaging portion y that engages with the lance w on the inner wall surface of the
is formed, and the contact 3 is inserted into the pole holding hole 20.
Insert it from the open opening on the rear end side and push it in. As a result, the abutment part provided on the contact 3 hits the step part provided on the inner wall surface of the pole holding hole 20, and it is fitted into the predetermined position. Once inserted, the lance w engages with the engaging portion y to prevent it from returning, and thereafter the contact 3 is held stationary relative to the pole holding member 2.

The pole holding member 2 is divided into two parts, a first half member 2a and a second half member 2b, which are specially molded, and the male and female fitting portions formed in the abutting portions are fitted together. An engaging portion y that is coupled to the integral pole holding member 2 and that engages with the lance w is formed in the latter half member 2b, so that the pole holding member 2 remains intact even after the contact 3 is inserted. The contact 3 can be removed by dividing it into a front half member 2a and a rear half member 2b.

作業が一層面倒なものとなつている。 By the way, the pole holding member 2, which is molded separately into the first half member 2a and the second half member 2b, has a female fitting part formed in a cylindrical shape at the abutting part of one of the first half member 2a and the second half member 2b. When molding the first half member 2a and the second half member 2b, in order to make the fitting of the male fitting part formed in the shape of a plug or disk in the other abutting part tight. There is a problem in which the accuracy must be increased, and from this,
There is a problem in that the task of assembling the pole holding member 2 by fitting the male and female fitting portions together becomes troublesome. Furthermore, when the male and female fitting portions are fitted together to assemble the pole holding member 2, the pole holding holes 20 formed in the front half side of the pole holding hole 20 formed in the first half member 2a and the pole holding hole 20 formed in the second half member 2b are In order to align the cores and maintain proper continuity with the rear half of the cylindrical female fitting part, a protrusion is provided on a part of the inner peripheral surface of the plug-shaped male fitting part. By providing grooves on the outer circumferential surface of the part that engage these protrusions, and aligning the protrusions and grooves, the male and female mating parts The assembling work of the pole holding member 2 due to the fitting of the two parts becomes even more troublesome.

するものである。 The present invention solves the above-mentioned problem that occurs in the pole holding member of a multi-core connector in which the first half member 2a and the second half member 2b are molded separately and assembled by fitting with male and female fitting parts. This was developed to solve the problem, and it is possible to form the male and female fitting parts so that they fit tightly together without requiring much precision in molding them, and,
Positioning when fitting them together can now be done in a state that can be seen from the outside until the final stage of fitting, and the mating parts of the male and female molds are elastically bound. It is an object of the present invention to provide a new means for firmly connecting the front half member and the rear half member.

ものである。 In the present invention, as a means to achieve this objective, in a pole retaining member of a multi-core connector that is molded into a plug shape from a synthetic resin material and held in the inner cavity of a guide sleeve, the pole retaining member is attached to the front half of the connector. The first half member and the second half member are divided into two parts and molded separately, and the first half member and the second half member are made of
A female fitting part with a notch along the axial direction is formed in a part of the circumferential direction of the cylindrical wall on one of the abutting parts, and a plate that fits on the inner circumferential side of the cylindrical wall is formed on the other side. The present invention proposes a pole holding member in a multi-core connector, characterized in that a male fitting part is formed on the outer periphery of a shaped raised part, and a protruding part that fits into the aforementioned notch is formed.

との結合が強固なものとなし得る。 As explained above, the pole holding member in the multicore connector according to the present invention is formed into a plug shape from a synthetic resin material and held in the inner cavity of the guide sleeve 1. The member 2 is divided into the first half member 2a and the second half member 2b.
Separated and molded separately, and those first half members 2a
In the second half member 2b, a female fitting part 5 in which a cutout part 51 along the axial direction is formed in a part of the circumferential direction of the cylinder wall 50 is formed on one of the abutting parts, and on the other side, the fitting part 5 is molded. This is because the male fitting part 6 is formed by forming a protruding part 61 that fits into the aforementioned notch on the outer periphery of a disk-shaped raised part 60 that fits into the inner peripheral side of the wall 50. The female and male fitting portions 5 and 6 formed at the abutting portions of the first half member 2a and the second half member 2b of the pole holding member 2 are tightly fitted together without requiring much precision in shaping them. In addition, the positioning when fitting them together can be done in a state that can be seen from the outside until the final stage of fitting.
The fitted male and female fitting portions are elastically bound, thereby making it possible to firmly connect the front half member and the rear half member.
