検知手段によつて紙詰まりが検知されて、搬送機
構の動作が停止してしまい、紙を取り除く等の処
理を行わない限り、複写機内の各装置が暖機状態
あるいは複写可能状態にならなかつた。前記した
搬送系路上に残留する複写紙に対処する方法とし
て、実開昭54−125649号公報等の明細書に開示さ
れる如く、複写機本体の電源オン時に、搬送機構
を一定時間駆動させ、搬送系路上に残留する複写
紙を排出するといつた構成の複写装置が提案され
ている。

は、複写紙が発火する等の恐れがあり、安全上の
問題点もあつた。

送ベルト32で定着部33まで搬送され、定着部
33で熱定着された後、排出ローラ34によつて
