【発明の効果】以上説明したとおり、本発明に係る蓋の
開閉装置は、ラック部材、ばね手段、アーム、ダンパー
をケースに内蔵してユニット化したことを要旨とし、こ
れにより次のような効果が得られる。 (1) 機器装置の組立ラインにおいて、組み込みが簡易
で部材相互の位置出しに煩わされず、自動化も容易とな
る。 (2) 蓋の開状態ではラック部材がケースの内部に位置
しているので、アームの一部が露出するもののラック部
材の歯などが目視されないので、外観意匠的に向上でき
る。これは、蓋が機器装置の前面開口に対してその回動
範囲を大きくしたいときなどに顕著となる。 (3) 前記機器装置に各部材が個々的に組み込まれる従
来構造の作動に対し、ユニット状態での品質管理が行え
て、部材相互の位置精度が確実となりダンパーの制動作
用を設計通り得られる。 (4) また、請求項2によれば、蓋の設計変更などには
アームのみを交換すればよいので、使用条件に容易に即
応できる。

れる蓋に対し、この蓋を開方向へ付勢するとともに、蓋
の開速度を制動する開閉装置であって、 前記機器装置の開口側に取付けられる前面開口したケー
スと、前記ケース内で所定距離だけ自在に前後動するラ
ック部材と、前記ケース内に設けられてラック部材をケ
ース開口側へ付勢するばね手段と、前記ラック部材の前
側に回動自在に連結されてその自由端をケース開口から
突出するアームと、前記ケースの一部に固定されて、前
記ラック部材の歯と噛合うピニオン付きダンパーとを備
え、前記アームの自由端を前記蓋の背面に連結すること
を特徴とする蓋の開閉装置。
