状壁面13を有する鍔部7と、内面ライニング鋼
管2に挿嵌されるシール構造の胴部8を形成して

布設現場において、ともすれば防食コアをつけ忘
れる事が考えられ、管接続完了後、外部からその
存在を確認するためには、超絶縁計や超音波探傷
機を使用しない限り不可能であつた。しかしこれ
ら特殊機器の使用には、作業者の熟練と高い経費

じを形成するとともに、前記鍔部近傍の胴部に
は、該胴部に外嵌する内リングと、該内リングに
連結され、前記ライニング鋼管の端部に設けられ
たテーパ雄ねじの先端ねじ部よりやや大径の外リ

1のテーパ雌ねじ4に螺嵌し、更に管端防食コア
3の雄ねじ6を継手本体1の奥部の雌ねじ5部に
嵌合させて接続するものであり、継手本体1に対
する螺嵌操作時、内面ライニング鋼管2の端部が
継手本体1の端面と接し始める頃に、連結小支柱
11にねじ螺進による切断力が作用し始め、遂に
外リング12が完全に分離し、管接続完了時にお
いて内面ライニング鋼管2の外径もしくはそのテ
