【考案の詳細な説明】 (産業上の利用分野) 本考案は樹脂製サブタンクに係り、エンジン燃
料への浸漬により軟化変形するポリエチレンの如
き樹脂材料によつて成形され、その壁面に燃料タ
ンク機材を取付けるサブタンクの前記変形によつ
て生ずる障害を防止する利用分野をもつものであ
る。

ンクaが燃料中で軟化変形すると、その壁面bに
インタンクポンプ等の燃料タンク機材c、若しく
は該機材を取付けたブラケツトd等を支持させる
ように装着してあると、サブタンクaが燃料によ
つて実線に示すように変形し、機材cの一部がサ
ブタンクaの底面と摩擦し、異音発生の原因にな
る。燃料中への浸漬により変形する樹脂材料とし
ては、ポリエチレン樹脂等が挙げられるが、成形
が容易なため多く使用されている。

cの図の右隅で側面をも開放して設けるが、図面
ではそれらの連通パイプを省略して示す。
