Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an adhesive tape cutter easy to handle with a simple structure in which an adhesive tape can be precisely positioned, stuck and cut from the start point to the end point at sticking. CONSTITUTION:A holder 1 has an adhesive seat 2 and a cutting edge 3 movable relatively to the seat. The adhesive seat 2 is opposed to the adhesive surface side of an adhesive tape 6, and the cutting edge 3 takes the approaching motion to the adhesive tape 6 from the non-adhesive surface side. At this motion, the cutting edge 3 cooperatively adheres the adhesive tape 6 to the adhesive seat 2 in the extending position where the adhesive tape 6 passes the adhesive seat 2, and also cuts the adhesive tape 6. For example, the holder 1 has a shaft 5, and the cutting edge 3 is mounted on a cutting arm 4 oscillating on the shaft 5. When the cutting edge 3 approaches the adhesive tape 6 to cut it, the position of the cutting edge 3 is situated in the point extending outward over the outer edge of the adhesive seat 2.
