Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the incineration and throw away of a used module after cutting and to enable easy exchange of only the defective part thereof with an easy connecting operation by boring plural small holes in the outer peripheral part of a connecting cylinder, contracting a toric ring consisting of an elastic material from the outside and freely attachably and detachably holding this ring. CONSTITUTION:The toric ring 21 is made into a shape notching a difference deltabetween the inner peripheral length D1 of a hollow groove 20 inscribed on the connecting cylinder 13 and the outer peripheral length D2 of a hollow groove 19 inscribed on a housing 14a. The end face on the inner side of the connecting cylinder 13 is so tapered that the toric ring 21 is easily assembled. On the other hand, the hollow groove 19 inscribed on the housing 14a is set at the groove size at which the toric ring 21 is housed therein by reducing the notch length deltaof the toric ring 21. Further, several pieces of the groove holes 22 are provided on the outer periphery of the hollow groove 20 of the connecting cylinder 13. The plural small holes 22 are used in the case of removal of the module 12 from the connecting cylinder 13.

By the way, when such a hollow fiber membrane filter is used for treating a large amount of water in a nuclear power plant, etc.,
It is necessary to increase the membrane area of the hollow fiber membrane filter in proportion to the amount of treated water. Thus, in order to increase the membrane area of the hollow fiber membrane filter, it is necessary to increase the number of modules of the hollow fiber membrane filter or increase the capacity of one module.

Further, since the metal material is not used for the rotation preventing structural material of the module connecting portion and the plastic resin is used, the disassembling work for removing the metal folding washer is conventionally performed when the used module is cut and discarded. It is possible to cut it with a module cutting device and incinerate it without it.

For this reason, a large number of modules of hundreds to thousands are used in a large-capacity hollow fiber membrane filter device. However, in the disposal of used modules, the labor is greatly reduced and the number of workers is greatly reduced. The radiation exposure can be reduced.

Further, since the modules can be easily connected and disassembled with one touch, it is possible to replace only the defective part in a state in which a plurality of modules are connected vertically, and it is possible to reduce the maintenance cost, and the structure is simple. Therefore, there is an advantage that the exchange time can be short.
