Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a coaxial cable with a connector having an L-shaped bent part which is easily worked and reduces cost. CONSTITUTION:A straight connector 7 is mounted on a terminal of a coaxial cable 1, while a thermally contracted tube 8 having a hot melt layer on the inside is coated on the coaxial cable 1 connected to the connector 7. The part of the thermally contracible tube 8 as well as the part of the coaxial cable 1 that is coated with the tube are bent into the letter L, and the L-shaped bending is retained by the bending work carried out directly after the thermal contraction of the thermally contractible tube 8 as well as by the tube that is fixed and molded by cooling under the bent condition.

2. Description of the Related Art In order to give an L-shaped bent shape to a terminal portion with a connector of a coaxial cable, a straight type connector is used to make the connector itself L-shaped or simpler. Use things, and
Attach a metal pipe or metal fitting to the end of the cable and bend the metal part into an L shape, or peel off the jacket of the end of the cable and bend it into an L shape, and then melt or solder the exposed outer conductor with a bell or bell. The structure of pouring and cooling to maintain the shape, or bending the end of the cable into an L shape and molding the portion with plastic or the like has been adopted.

According to the coaxial cable provided by the present invention, a straight type connector is attached to the end of the coaxial cable, and a hot melt layer is formed on the inside of the portion of the coaxial cable connected to the connector. The heat-shrinkable tube is covered, and the heat-shrinkable tube and the portion of the coaxial cable covered by the heat-shrinkable tube are bent into an L-shape, and the L-shaped bend is for heating the heat-shrinkable tube. The tube is held by the tube that is solidified and formed based on the bending process immediately after contraction and the cooling in the bending state.

The heat-shrinkable tube 8 has a hot melt adhesive layer on the inner surface of a polyolefin body, and is bent into an L-shape immediately after being heat-shrinked by covering a predetermined cable portion as described above. The tube is cooled in that bent state, and a predetermined L-shaped bent shape is maintained by utilizing the fact that the hot melt layer inside the tube is solidified.

According to the coaxial cable with a connector having the L-shaped bent portion of the present invention as described above, a straight type connector can be used as the connector to simplify the cable portion into an L-shape. In addition, such L-shaped bending uses a heat-shrinkable tube having a hot-melt layer on the inner side, and holds the predetermined bent shape by utilizing the fact that the inner hot-melt layer is solidified by cooling after heat-shrinking. Since this is done, the processing cost can be greatly reduced by a simple operation.
