Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically correct the surface temperature of a carpet cover by stopping power supply to a heating means at a point of time when the temperature of an electric carpet reaches a preset temperature and supplying power again to the heating means after finishing the counting of time. CONSTITUTION:The surface temperature of a carpet body is set to a predetermined level, and a power source switch 12 is closed. A resistance value of a temperature sensitive layer decreases according to an increase in the temperature of the carpet body and, when an output voltage of a temperature detection circuit 13 exceeds an output voltage of a temperature setting circuit 15, a relay contact 21 is opened to stop power supply to a heater 4. At the same time, a timer means 18 starts the counting operation for a period of counting time in accordance with the preset temperature. When the counting operation for a predetermined period of counting time is finished, the relay contact 21 is closed to supply power to the heater 4. By this method, the surface temperature of a carpet cover can be automatically corrected according to a thickness of the cover or the like.

2. Description of the Related Art An electric carpet is used by laying it on a floor or a tatami mat, but a cover is placed on the upper surface of the carpet because dirt and dust adhere to it. (JP-A-2-
However, when the cover is placed, the temperature of the cover decreases depending on the thickness of the cover and the weight per unit area (the amount of fibers per square meter). I was raising the set temperature. In this method, the user has to change the set temperature each time according to the thickness of the cover and the weight per unit area, which is troublesome.

For the above reason, the correction means for changing the set temperature by judging the thickness and basis weight of the cover is provided. However, in addition to the original temperature setting means, the set temperature is changed. However, there is a drawback that the circuit configuration becomes complicated because it is necessary to provide the correction means. (JP-A-2-27028

A first construction is to mount a cover on an electric carpet having heating means, temperature detecting means for detecting the temperature by the heating means, temperature setting means for the heating means, and timer means. When the temperature of the electric carpet reaches a set temperature, the timer means stops the energization to the heating means or reduces the heat generation amount, and after the time measurement is finished, the heating means is energized again. Is to do. In the second configuration, the time measured by the timer means is set short when the set temperature is high and long when the set temperature is low.

When the temperature of the electric carpet reaches the preset temperature, the cover is placed on the upper surface of the electric carpet by the thickness and the basis weight of the cover in order to stop energizing the heating means or reduce the amount of heat generation for a predetermined time. The surface temperature of is automatically corrected. Further, since the time measured by the timer means is changed according to the set temperature, the surface temperature of the cover does not become too low when the preset set temperature is high.

Next, the operation will be described with reference to the cover thickness and carpet temperature change characteristic charts shown in FIGS. 1 and 4 and the cover thickness and carpet body temperature characteristic charts shown in FIG. A case will be described in which a cover (11) having a thick or large basis weight is placed on the upper surface of the carpet body (1). The surface temperature of the carpet body (1) is previously set to a desired temperature by the temperature setting knob (8) (set temperature (S), FIG. 5).

2) is closed. At this point in time, since the resistance value of the temperature sensitive layer (10) is large, the output of the temperature detection circuit (13) is "L" and the output of the temperature setting circuit (15) is "H". Further, the output of the timer means (18) is "H" because the temperature setting circuit is "H" and the timing operation is not performed, and the output of the logic means (19) is "H". ) Is driven to close the relay contact (21) to energize the heater (4).

The timed time (t) of the timer means (18) is set according to the set temperature (S) of the temperature setting circuit (15) associated with the operation of the temperature setting knob (8). The timer means (18) does not start the time counting operation as described above. When the resistance value of the temperature sensitive layer (10) decreases with the temperature rise of the carpet body (1) and the output voltage of the temperature detection circuit (13) exceeds the output voltage of the temperature setting circuit (15), the comparing means The output of (17) becomes "L", the output of the logic means (19) becomes "L" by this output, the relay contact (21) is opened, the energization of the heater (4) is stopped, and the timer means (18). ) Starts the timekeeping operation of the timekeeping time according to the set temperature (S). At this time, the temperature drop of the carpet body (1) is caused by the cover (11) as shown in FIG.
Is thick or has a large basis weight, and therefore becomes gentle.

Eventually, when the timekeeping operation for a predetermined time is finished, the output of the timer means (18) becomes "H",
Further, since the temperature of the carpet body (1) is also lower than the set temperature, the output of the comparison means (17) is also "H", and the output of the logic means (19) is "H". The relay contact (21) is closed to energize the heater (4). Hereinafter, this operation is repeated.

As described above, when the cover (11) is thick or the basis weight is large, the temperature drop is gentle as shown in (P) of FIG. 5, so that the heater (4) after the time measurement (t) is finished. The temperature of the carpet body (1) at the start of energization to the vehicle becomes high, and the average temperature is stable at a high state. If you put a thin or heavy cover,
The same operation as described above is repeated, but as shown in (Q) of FIG. 5, the temperature of the carpet main body (1) is rapidly lowered, so that when the electricity is supplied to the heater (4) after the measurement time (t) ends. The temperature of the carpet body (1) becomes low and the average temperature is stable at a low state.

When the desired temperature is set by the temperature setting knob (8), the above-mentioned clocking time is changed according to the set temperature, and when the set temperature is high, the clocking time is shortened to keep the average temperature high. To do so. This prevents the carpet body from being maintained at a low temperature despite the high set temperature. Further, when the set temperature is low, the time measuring time is lengthened to keep the average temperature low.

In the present invention, the heater is de-energized when the temperature of the carpet body reaches the set temperature. However, the heater may be energized slightly without completely de-energizing. In this case, for example, when the timekeeping time is set to be long due to various restrictions, it is possible to prevent the temperature difference between when the set temperature is reached and when the timekeeping time is over from increasing.

As described above, according to the present invention, when the temperature of the electric carpet reaches the set temperature, the energization of the heating means is stopped or the heat generation amount is reduced for a predetermined time. Can automatically correct the surface temperature of the cover. Further, since the time measured by the timer means is changed according to the set temperature, the surface temperature of the cover will not be too low when the preset temperature is high and will not deviate significantly from the set temperature, and the surface temperature will be low when the set temperature is low. Can be prevented from rising.
