Abstract

PURPOSE:To mass-produce disposable underpants with a relatively complicated structure which have a pair of flaps rising up to the skin side of a user. CONSTITUTION:All the constitutional raw materials of underpants are continuously carried in a fixed direction along a production line of the underpants but after a continuous laminated body contg. a flap 103 is formed by laminating other continuous raw materials except for a continuous raw material 113 for a back sheet of the underpants. This continuous laminated body is cut into width dimensions of individual underpants to form pieces of the laminated bodies and the directions of these pieces of the laminated bodies are changed by 90 deg. and are laminated on the continuous raw material for a back sheet to constitute a final continuous laminated body 126. This final continuous laminated body is folded through a central line 105 in the longer direction and this folded final continuous laminated body is bonded at a specified part to form individual underpants, which are then separated.

However, in order to prevent the excrement from leaking through the leg openings of the pants, elastic flaps are provided on both sides of the inner surface of the pants, and flaps that rise to the wearer's skin are provided. When manufacturing things, a difficult problem occurs, but the above-mentioned technology and other known technologies do not point out that there is a problem. This is rather natural in view of the fact that the above-mentioned technology is intended for the pants that have no particular difference from the conventionally known pants in the basic structure itself.

Here is a difficult problem. That is, in order to mass-produce disposable pants at a low cost, all the constituent materials of the pants are stacked while being transferred in the same direction as the pants manufacturing line, and, in the vicinity of the final process of the manufacturing, the processes are completed by that process. The folded continuous laminate is folded along its longitudinal centerline and then the folded state is joined along the side edges to define the side edges of the individual pants in the continuous laminate. It is indispensable to construct a plurality of connected pants and separate individual pants from the connected pants in the final step, but when manufacturing pants with the flap, all of the pants are If the components are transported in the same direction as the pants production line, such pants cannot be produced. This will be understood more clearly from the following description of the present invention.

Therefore, in the present invention, it is necessary to change the direction of a part of a certain constituent material of the pants to a direction perpendicular to the manufacturing line direction of the pants and position it in the manufacturing line direction. In which step, if so, it is possible to manufacture pants with the same high efficiency as in the method for manufacturing pants according to the above technique.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The method of the present invention for solving the above-mentioned problems, in a very simple manner, continuously transfers all the constituent materials of the pants in a certain direction along the pants production line. However, after the continuous material other than the continuous material for the back sheet of the pants (including the absorbent panel which is formed in advance and spaced apart) is laminated to form a continuous laminated body including a flap, the continuous laminated body The body is cut into the width dimension of individual pants to form laminated pieces, and the laminated pieces are turned by 90 degrees with respect to the moving direction of the continuous laminated body and stacked on the continuous material for the back sheet. A final continuous laminated body is formed, the final continuous laminated body is folded along the center line in the longitudinal direction, and predetermined parts of the folded final continuous laminated body are joined to define individual pants. Then disconnect.

On the other hand, the first continuous web 113, which is the material of the elastic member 11 for the leg opening described above, and each of which has three first A and first B continuous elastic members 111A and 111B stretched at a required rate. The adhesive regions 119 are provided in a sine curve shape while being provided along substantially half of each adhesive region 119 and intersecting between the adjacent adhesive regions 119.
The respective parts of the elastic members located at are bonded. The portions of the elastic members thus bonded are annular elastic portions 111b.
And the other portions 111a of the first A and first B continuous elastic members 111A and 111B are located between the annular elastic portions, but no adhesive is applied to those positions, so that FIG. In FIG. 10, the third continuous laminated body 12 is shown.
The laminated piece 126 under the tension condition received by the turning device arranged in the moving area of No. 4 is turned by 90 degrees with respect to the moving direction of the first continuous web 113 and the third continuous laminated body 124. Although not shown, this swivel device can also be used, for example, a device having a suction holding portion swiveled by a cam mechanism. With this suction holding portion, the laminated piece 126 can be held in a tensioned state so as not to contract due to the contracting force of the elastic member 118.

As can be understood from the above description, the method of the present invention is, in short, a continuous web for the back sheet of the pants and the continuous elastic members for the leg openings and the trunk opening of the pants. While attached for so-called stripping, other pant continuous materials, including continuous pant flap materials, but including preformed and spaced absorbent panels, are laminated and the continuous laminate is After cutting into laminate pieces that are pants, and stacking the laminate pieces on a continuous web for the back sheet to form a final continuous laminate, the final continuous laminate is cut along the longitudinal center line. After being folded over, predetermined portions of the final folded continuous laminate are joined so as to form the side edge joining lines of the individual pants, and then the individual pants are separated.

Therefore, according to the method of the present invention, each continuous elastic member for the leg opening and the trunk opening is provided as a back sheet so that the pants can be so-called laterally taken from the constituent material of the pants for the pants manufacturing line. Can be mass-produced continuously with a manufacturing apparatus, even though it is attached to a continuous web for use and a pants is produced in which flaps are arranged so that the direction of movement of the continuous web is different by 90 degrees. .

By the way, when the final continuous laminated body of the pants is cut into individual pants, it is folded in two and both side edges of the pants are joined to each other. Includes elastic members for different leg openings, torso openings and flaps, which are deformed indefinitely by the contraction force of those elastic members, so that both side edges of pants should be aligned and joined. Not only will it become extremely difficult, but it will also be difficult to continuously carry out mass production at low cost.
