(Prior Art) Conventionally, for example, devices for communicating by voice between a motorcycle driver and a fellow rider while wearing a helmet have been disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 59-77492 and Utility Model Application No. 62-
Devices such as No. 35400 are known. In the former case, this device has a speaking tube unit configured separately from the helmet, and this speaking tube unit consists of an earpiece that is placed against the ear and a speaking tube supported by the earpiece. Two further connecting pipes extend from the section. Since the earpiece is made of a soft elastic material and is made of a large size, when the earpiece is placed against the ear when wearing a helmet, it is held between the inner surface of the helmet and the ear. In the latter case, the receiver is connected to a receiver that is integrated with or separate from the helmet. connected by a tube.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) However, in the case of JP-A-59-77492, when putting on a helmet, the earpiece may shift from the ear and make it difficult to hear, and in that case, it is necessary to put the helmet back on and the operation becomes difficult. In addition, in the case of Utility Model Application Publication No. 62-35400, the breathing sounds of both parties and the noises picked up are concentrated in one connecting tube, and the connecting tube is connected at the transmitter part, that is, in front of the mouth. As a result, each time you move your head, the connecting pipe rubs against parts of your body, creating pipe noise and amplifying the noise, making it difficult to hear.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve the problems, the present invention attaches a joint member comprising a connection part with a connecting pipe to the lower edge of the side of the helmet behind the chin strap, and The member is provided with another pair of connecting parts to which the speaking tube and the receiving tube can be connected, and the connecting direction of the connecting tube, the speaking tube, and the receiving tube is set horizontally along the lower edge of the helmet. The receiving tube extending from the joint member is bent so as to pass between the chin strap and the inner surface of the helmet and lead to the ear.

(Function) Generally, when putting on a helmet, an operation such as holding the chin strap and pushing the sides of the helmet laterally is performed, but at this time, the earpiece is securely positioned at a predetermined position and will not be accidentally thrown. Furthermore, when wearing the helmet, the earpiece is pressed against the inner wall of the helmet by the chin strap, which reduces discomfort. Furthermore, since the connecting pipe is connected to the joint member on the lower edge of the side surface of the helmet, the connecting pipe does not touch the shoulder even when the head is moved, and the generation of pipe noise is suppressed.

At this time, since the connection direction of the connecting tube, the transmitting tube, and the receiving tube is horizontal along the lower edge of the helmet, the chances of the connecting tube touching the shoulder or the like are further reduced.

In addition, by attaching the joint member to the lower edge behind the chin strap on the side of the helmet, the degree of freedom of the connecting tube when moving the head is increased, and the opportunity for the connecting tube to touch the shoulder is further suppressed. Even when attaching the string, there is no problem such as interference with the joint member and disconnection.

As shown in FIG. 3, the joint member 4 to which this connecting pipe 3 is connected includes a set spring 7 for attachment to the lower edge of the side surface of the helmet 1, and a joint case 8 formed with an L-shaped cross section. The set spring 7 is attached to the joint case 8 as shown in FIG.
One end of the joint case 8 is secured to the upper inner attachment portion 8a to hold the joint case 8, and it is attached so as to sandwich the lower edge of the helmet 1.

This joint part 8c is made to protrude inward so that it does not protrude to the outside of the helmet 1 and get in the way, and to have a slanted design, and the joint part 8c is provided with two horizontal insertion holes in the front and back direction. These two insertion holes are bored with varying inner diameters as shown in FIG. The inner diameter of the insertion hole to which the other speaking tube 5 is connected is made large so that it has the function of a low-pass filter. The outlet on the rear surface of this insertion hole forms a male and female connection port corresponding to the socket portion 3a of the connecting tube 3, and allows the connecting tube 3 whose connection direction is determined to be freely inserted and removed. Further, a connection port for connecting the ends of the transmitting tube 5 and the receiving tube 6 is also provided on the front surface of this insertion hole, and these are connected via a ring member 9.

This joint case 8 is made of a flexible material, and is installed so that the joint part 8c is below the lower edge of the helmet and behind the chin strap, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. wear it. This allows the joint part 8c to move quite freely via the floating part 8b, and also suppresses the problem of the connecting pipe touching the shoulder and causing noise due to being located behind the chin strap. Problems such as entanglement with the connecting pipe 3 and disconnection of the connecting pipe 3 are eliminated.

On the other hand, the transmitter tube 5 and the receiver tube 6 connected to the joint member 4 are made of a material that is softer than the connecting tube 3, and have a larger inner diameter than the connecting tube 3 in order not to reduce voice transmission efficiency. The mouthpiece 5 has a flat opening end to form a mouthpiece 5a, and a circular mouthpiece 5b is provided therein, and the mouthpiece 5b is covered with a cover 10 to prevent noise and dust. There is.
Further, as shown in the cross-sectional view of FIG. 6, the opening end of the mouthpiece 5b is curled inward to enhance the sound collection effect. Further, the outer surface of the speaking tube 5 is covered with a protector 17 in order to maintain and protect the shape of the speaking tube 5 which is elastically deformed.

The receiving tube 6 has a shorter pipe length than the transmitting tube 5, and as shown in FIG. and the inner surface of helmet 1. For this reason, the earpiece 6 is pinched between the pad 11 on the inner surface of the helmet and the chin strap 12, as shown in FIG. There is no discomfort as it is pressed against you. A receiver 6a serving as a flat portion is also formed at the open end of the receiver tube 6, and a cover 13 is attached thereto.
