Abstract

PURPOSE:To automate assembly and manufacture processes by feeding component materials in sequence to a case body, coupling the engagement holes of the materials to corresponding boss sections for assembly, and then crushing each of the boss sections for fastening the component materials. CONSTITUTION:When a grounding plate 9 is fed to a substrate 2, aligned with the predetermined position, each boss section 4 is coupled to a corresponding engagement hole 10, and an insertion aperture 11 is coupled to the upper end 6b of a holder section, thereby positioning the grounding plate 9 in approximately proper state. Furthermore, when a plug pin is inserted and fed to an insertion aperture 7 from the upper end 6b, a fitting tongue piece 12c comes in contact with the upper end 6b, and concurrently each boss section 8 formed on the upper end 6b is coupled to the engagement hole 13 of the tongue piece 12c, thereby realizing approximately proper positioning. While this state is being maintained, each of the boss sections 4 and 8 is cold or hot crushed, thereby assembling each component material into a case body 1 firmly and in pressed contact state.

As for the means for assembling the respective constituent parts of the terminal fitting in the above-mentioned conventional example, whichever of a plurality of fixing means is selected, the individually formed constituent parts are Not only the accuracy of the mold for forming each part is strictly required, but also the work of assembling the disjointed parts becomes complicated, and the skill in the assembly work is also required. Therefore, there is a problem that the total cost will increase due to lack of manpower and soaring labor costs. Therefore, in the conventional example, there is a problem to be solved in avoiding a strict requirement for parts accuracy and facilitating assembling work, that is, being able to cope with automatic assembling.

When assembling the above-mentioned respective constituent members,
First, the case body 1 is connected to the connector portion 3 as shown.
Are set to a predetermined assembly position so that they are located on the lower side, and then the grounding metal fitting 14 is dropped from the substrate 2 side into the connector portion 3. In this case, when the cutout portion 18 of the grounding metal fitting 14 is dropped so as to correspond to the connecting portion 6a, the flap portion 15 of the grounding metal fitting 14 causes the recessed portion 5 of the substrate 2 to move.
At the same time, the boss portion 4 is fitted into the engagement hole 16, and the ground metal fitting 14 is located between the connector portion 3 and the holder portion 6 as a whole.

Further, when the plug pin 12 is supplied from the upper end portion 6b side of the holder portion 6 into the insertion hole 7 so as to be inserted or press-fitted, the mounting tongue piece 12c abuts the upper end portion 6b, and at the same time, the mounting tongue piece 12c. The boss portions 8 provided on the upper end portion 6b are fitted into the engaging holes 13 provided on the piece 12c, respectively, so that substantially proper positioning is performed.

As described above, it is inevitably roughly necessary to mechanically sequentially supply the respective constituent members in one direction on the basis of the case main body 1 from above to the case main body 1 set at a predetermined assembly position. The bosses 4 and 8 are positioned, and the respective bosses 4 and 8 are crushed by, for example, cold or heating while maintaining this state, whereby the respective constituent members are firmly and press-fitted to the case body 1.

The above-mentioned rough positioning is performed by fitting the boss portion formed on the case body side and the engaging hole formed in each component, and the fitting is strict. It does not require precision and it is sufficient if it is done in a loosely fitted state.By crushing the boss portion with cold or heating means from that loosely fitted state, the gap in the loosely fitted state is filled and all parts are rationalized. It is fixed in a proper position.

The ground wire 19a portion of the coaxial cable 19 is crimped and fixed to the terminal fitting thus assembled by the grip portion 9b, and the power supply wire 19b is plugged into the plug pin 12.
It suffices to press it into the slit 12d of the connecting portion 12b and hold it. A cover member 20 is attached to the case body 1, and a box-shaped shield 21 for noise prevention is attached to the cover member 20.

In the second embodiment shown in FIG. 7, the shape of the earth plate 9 is slightly modified, for example, the grip portion 9b is bent stepwise with respect to the flat portion 9a and raised one step. Correspondingly, a base portion 2a having a predetermined height is formed on the substrate 2 of the case body 1. Even in the case of this embodiment, the formation of the boss portion 4 formed on the substrate 2 and the corresponding engagement hole 10 is not different.

Further, the third embodiment shown in FIG. 8 is substantially the same as the first embodiment except that the order of assembling the parts is different. That is, by supplying the ground plate 9 first and then supplying the ground metal fitting 14,
The flap portion 15 of the grounding metal member 14 comes to ride on the upper portion of the grounding plate 9, and the boss portion 4 is crushed so that they are pressed against each other. In any case, it is the same in that the constituent members are supplied and assembled from one direction with reference to the case body 1.
