The delivery conveyor 45 shown in FIG. 10 grips the prints 50 part by part by the gripper 47 and forcibly carries them out. Therefore, the interval between the prints stacked in a tile shape is increased. The printed matter 30 is carried out in a relatively orderly posture. Therefore, the printed matter can be accurately delivered to the carrier, and excellent practical effects are achieved. However, the conventional delivery conveyor 45 requires a belt with a gripper claw, and it is necessary to strictly regulate the timing between the discharge of the printed matter 50 from the fan holding portion 41a and the closing of the gripper claw 47. ,
There is a problem that the device becomes complicated and the manufacturing cost rises, and that operation management is troublesome. Further, in the conventional delivery conveyor, the gripper 47 partially grips the rear end of the printed matter 50 and forcibly pushes the gripped printed matter 50 forward.
In addition to the high frequency of damage to the grip of the printed matter 50, if the printed matter 50 is clogged between the fan 41 and the delivery conveyor 45, the operating speed is high. However, there is a problem that the range of damage to the device and the printed matter itself is significantly expanded. Further, the conventional delivery conveyor 45 has a relatively complicated structure, and it is extremely difficult to downsize it. As a result, the installation of the conveyor requires a relatively large installation space in the vicinity of the printed matter discharge port of the rotary press, and there is a problem that it cannot be easily applied to an existing printing factory where the installation space is narrow. is there.

Folding portion 12 of printed matter 12 sent by pitch P of mm
The spacing of a is expanded to a pitch Q of about 114 mm.
The stacking pitch P of the printed matter 12 on the receiving conveyor 3 is increased to the pitch Q = 114 mm by accelerating the feeding conveyor 7, as described later with reference to FIG. Is provided in the arc-shaped curved portion of the carrier device B. That is, in the arcuate curved portion of the carrier device B, the moving speed (peripheral speed) of the gripper 23 is higher than the moving speed in the linear portion. In the case of this embodiment, the carrier device B is provided with the grippers 23 at a pitch of about 76 mm, but in the arc-shaped curved portion, the average peripheral velocity of the gripping portion of the gripper 23 is in the linear portion. This is about 1.5 times the speed, so that the average pitch of the gripping portions of the gripper 23 is also expanded to about 114 mm. Therefore, in the present embodiment, the speed of the feeding conveyor 7 is increased and the conveyance speed of the printed matter 12 is about 1.5.
By doubling the speed and enlarging the pitch Q between the printed materials to about 114 mm, the timing between the opened gripper 23 and the printed material folding portion 12a fed into the gripper 23 is set.
