Abstract

PURPOSE:To avoid the troubles between a magnetic shielding plate (MS) and a coil and reduce the thickness of a motor by a method wherein a stator is provided outside and a part of the outer circumference of the stator is made to retreat radially or opened and the stator coil is electrically insulated with a thin film member. CONSTITUTION:A bearing component 2 which supports a rotary shaft 1 so as to rotate freely is vertically attached and fixed to a motor frame 4 to which a stator 3 is attached. The stator 3 is fixed to the motor frame 4 with screws with a spacer 5 therebetween concentrically with the bearing component 2. A coil 6 is wound on the inside of the core 3a of the stator 3. A recess 3c which is made to retreat toward the inner circumference side is formed on the outer circumference of the part of the core 3a where the coil 6 is not wound. A magnetic shielding plate (MS) 12 is fixed above the coil 6 with screws to shield a leakage flux to a magnetic recording medium 11. A thin film member 16 having electrical insulating properties is fixed with the MS 12 with screws between the MS 12 and the coil 16. うな構成である。即ち、図3と図4に示すように磁気記
録媒体11を保持する保持機構7を備えた回転軸1が保
持機構側と反保持機構側の二個の軸受を介してフレーム
20に固定された筒状の軸受ホルダ21に回転可能に保
持されている。軸受ホルダ21の外側にはドーナツ形の
鉄心を有する固定子22がねじによりフレーム20を挟
んで固定され、鉄心にはコイル23が巻装されている。
回転軸1の反保持機構側端には内周面に固定子22に対
向する永久磁石24を固着したヨーク25がねじ固定さ
れ、回転子26が構成されている。永久磁石24は半径
方向に磁力を生じ、固定子22の鉄心に巻装されたコイ
ル23に通電される電流により回転トルクを発生する。
なお、図において符合27はインデックス検出機構を構
成するインデックス検出素子、28は同じくインデック
ス検出機構を構成するインデックス検出用磁石で、イン
デックス検出機構は一回転に一パルスの信号を発生す
る。また、14,15は磁気ヘッドでフレーム20に取
付け部材を介して固定された支持軸に摺動部材により直
線運動が可能に構成されている。
