化と高能率化を図ることができるようにしたサイ
ズ交換式輪転機におけるギヤ位置セツト装置を提
供しようとするものであり、その構成は、カセツ
ト状に構成した交換胴8を印刷ユニツト2a,2
b,2cに交換可能に装着するようにしたサイズ
交換式輪転機においては、交換胴8側に、この交
換胴8に連結した従動ギヤ11の歯先位置を所定
の位置に合わせるための位置合わせ部材を設け、
また上記交換胴8の従動ギヤ11に噛合する印刷
ユニツト側の版胴駆動ギヤ14に、駆動ラインの
ほかにデフ装置15を介して位相調整モータ17
を連結すると共に、位置検出用のドグを設け、ま
た印刷ユニツト側に、上記位置検出用のドグを検
出して版胴駆動ギヤ14の原点位置を検出するギ
ヤ位相検出センサ18と、交換胴8を着脱する着
脱装置と、交換胴8の装着を確認する装着確認セ
ンサ20を設けると共に、交換胴8に対応した挿
入開始スイツチP,BのON信号と上記ギヤ位相
検出センサ18からの信号を入力し、かつこの各
入力信号に基づいて、版胴駆動ギヤ14をギヤ位
置検出センサ18とドグによる検知関係による原
点位置まで回転させ、その後版胴駆動ギヤ14
を、印刷ユニツトへ装着する交換胴8に連結した
従動ギヤ11に対応する回転角度だけ回転する駆
動信号を位相調整モータ17へ出力すると共に、
装着装置にこれを駆動する信号を出力するCPU
22を設けた構成となつており、交換する交換胴
に応じて印刷ユニツト側の版胴駆動ギヤが位相調
整モータにて駆動されてこの版胴駆動ギヤが交換
胴の従動ギヤと噛合う位置に位相調整される。
