[Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a deodorant containing an organic acid and water-soluble polyacrylic acid and/or its salt as active ingredients, and is used, for example, in refrigerators, food shelves, living rooms, kitchens, and geta. Widely used in fields such as boxes, garbage, toilets, etc. [Prior Art] Conventionally, in the field of deodorants, glyoxal, green tea ingredients, camellia extract, ascorbic acid, malic acid, copper chlorophyllin soda, activated carbon, activated clay, and β-cyclodextrin have been used as deodorizing substances. , sodium hypochlorite, etc. are mixed, but there are problems such as the deodorizing effect is not sufficient, and the deodorizing substance itself has a peculiar odor (smoky odor, chlorine odor, etc.). At present, there is no satisfactory deodorant. [Problems to be Solved by the Invention] The present inventors have conducted extensive research to improve these points, and have found that the pH of a system containing an organic acid and water-soluble polyacrylic acid and/or its salt as essential components is 4.0
It has been discovered that a deodorizing agent having no peculiar odor and having a high deodorizing effect can be obtained by preparing the following, and has completed the present invention. [Means for solving the problem] That is, the present invention uses an organic acid and a water-soluble polyacrylic acid and/or a salt thereof as essential components,
The deodorant is characterized in that the pH of the system is 4.0 or less. The present invention will be explained in detail below. Examples of organic acids used in the present invention include citric acid, oxalic acid, glycolic acid, malic acid, lactic acid, tartaric acid, succinic acid, adipic acid, maleic acid, phthalic acid, malonic acid, benzoic acid, ascorbic acid, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, 1-hydroxyethane-
Examples of organic acids include 1,1-diphosphoric acid, fumaric acid, and acetic acid, but preferred organic acids include citric acid, malic acid, and tartaric acid in view of human safety. The amount of organic acid blended is 0.2 to 4.0% by weight based on the total amount of the deodorant. In addition, as the water-soluble polyacrylic acid used in the present invention, Carboball 934 (molecular weight 2 million to 3 million) and 940 (molecular weight 200 to 3 million) manufactured by Gutudoritsu Co., Ltd.
3,000,000), 941 (molecular weight 1,000,000 to 1,500,000), Hivis Wako 104, 105 manufactured by Wako Pure Chemical Industries, Ltd., and Aronbis manufactured by Nippon Pure Chemical Industries, Ltd. Also, as a salt, Na
Salts, K salts, organic amine salts, etc. can be used. The amount of water-soluble polyacrylic acid and/or its salt is 0.05 to 2.0% by weight based on the total amount. The present invention uses an organic acid and water-soluble polyacrylic acid and/or its salt as essential components, and furthermore, the system
It is necessary to adjust the pH to below 4.0. If the pH of the system exceeds 4.0, the deodorizing effect will diminish. Additionally, when using the product of the present invention in products for use on the human body,
Alternatively, when used in products that are likely to come into contact with the human body, it is desirable to adjust the pH to 1.5 or higher from the perspective of human safety. In addition to the above-mentioned essential components, the deodorant of the present invention may include other optional components, such as polyoxyethylene (hereinafter referred to as POE) alkyl ether,
Nonionic surfactants such as POE alkyl phenol ethers, alkylaryl sulfonates, α-
Anionic surfactants such as olefin sulfonate, foaming detergents such as imidazoline amphoteric surfactants, humectants such as glycerin and propylene glycol, feel improvers such as squalane and lanolin, solvents such as ethyl alcohol, inorganic and Ingredients commonly used in the fields of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, such as organic salts, anti-inflammatory agents, preservatives, chelating agents, fragrances, and pigments, may be added within a qualitative and quantitative range that does not impair the objectives and effects of the present invention. I can do it. The product of the present invention can be used in a wide variety of ways, including liquid types, dispenser types, aerosol types, solid types, and types impregnated with nonwoven fabric, paper, etc., and is very useful industrially. [Examples] Next, the present invention will be explained in more detail with reference to Examples, but the present invention is not limited to these Examples. In addition, prior to the examples, the test methods and evaluation methods adopted in each example will be explained. (Deodorizing effect test method) It is known that the main odor components of the raw odor of fish and the peculiar odor of vegetables are trimethylamine and methyl mercaptan, so the evaluation was carried out by determining the deodorizing effect on these. did. Pour 4 ml of deodorizing liquid (deodorant) directly or by impregnating paper (or non-woven fabric, etc.) into a 500 ml Erlenmeyer flask with a resin stopper. after that,
Odorous substances trimethylamine (reagent manufactured by Tokyo Kasei) and methyl mercaptan (reagent manufactured by Wako Pure Chemical Industries)
Inject 0.5 μ of each using a microsyringe and shake thoroughly. After 30 minutes, the upper pot was opened and the odor substance was smelled to judge the deodorizing effect. Judgment was made by a panel of 10 people, and the deodorizing effect was evaluated using the following criteria. ○ Good deodorizing effect ~ If 7 or more out of 10 people confirmed deodorization △ Fair deodorizing effect ~ If 4 to 6 out of 10 people confirmed deodorizing × No deodorizing effect ~ 0 out of 10 people Examples 1 to 5 when 3 people confirmed deodorization A deodorant having the composition shown in Table 1 was prepared, and its deodorizing effect was examined and found to be good. (Manufacturing method) Water-soluble polyacrylic acid or its salt is stirred and dispersed during ion exchange at room temperature, and then uniformly dissolved. Thereafter, an organic acid such as malic acid is stirred and dissolved. Thereafter, propylene glycol or ethanol is appropriately stirred and dissolved.
