CONSTITUTION:An evaporator 2 is formed so as to have the shape of a curved surface projected with respect to the fore part of an air-conditioning machine and longer in the size of the width than the size of the height of the same. Accordingly, discharging air, supplied by an indoor fan 4, passes through the evaporator 2 and heat exchange is effected therein while cold air, whose heat exchange has been finished, is discharged out of the whole surface of the air- conditioning machine substantially and is supplied to indoor side uniformly. The lengthwise direction of a compressor 1 is arranged laterally with respect to the base of the machine and, therefore, the height of the air-conditioning machine can be designed so as to have a size substantially the same as the diameter of the cylindrical body of the compressor 1, the height of the air- conditioning machine can be designed so as to be low while the shielding of light in the space of a window glass can be improved.

内に満偏無く冷気を供給可能とし、又、圧縮機の長手方
向をベースに対し、横に配置したことにより、製品の高
さを低くすることが可能となり、窓ガラス空間の遮光改
善及び視覚的威圧感の改善を可能とした好適なエアコン
に関する。

付の場合、視覚的な威圧感、又、窓ガラスの採光面積が
減少するという点に於いて、配慮がなされていなかっ
た。尚、この種の装置として関連するものに例えば実開
昭61−151135等が挙げられるが、本発明につい
ては触れていない。
