より、大粒度即ち高い塊コークス歩留でずっしりと重
く、落下強度(SI)の高い精錬コークスを製造でき
る。又本発明の原料ピッチは従来ニードルコークス用脱
QIピッチ工程の残渣として発生する高QI分含有の濃
縮沈澱物を簡単な減圧蒸留処理だけで容易に製造できる
のでβ−レジンを高める等の特別の熱処理に要する分の
コスト安となり、又低品位燃料位しか利用のなかった高
QI分含有の濃縮沈澱物を有効活用できる。
