Claims (1)
重畳された、文字多重放送に含まれる文字データを取り
込むことが可能なテレビジョン受像機において、任意チ
ャンネルのテレビジョン放送の画像を縮小して表示する
と同時に、同一画面上に、他のチャンネルの文字多重放
送に含まれる文字データを表示出来るマルチ表示テレビ
ジョン受像機であって、 テレビジョン映像信号を構成する水平走査線を間欠的に
抽出して垂直方向の画像圧縮を行なう映像信号処理手段
と、 前記映像信号処理手段による圧縮画像の表示中に、映像
信号処理手段による抽出対象とならない水平走査線の走
査期間だけ、文字多重放送の受信動作に切り換えて、該
文字多重放送に含まれる文字データを取り込む文字デー
タ処理手段と、 前記映像信号処理手段による抽出対象となる水平走査線
を、1フィールド毎に或いは1フレーム毎に変化させる
抽出制御手段と、 前記圧縮画像の表示画面に、前記文字データ処理手段に
取り込まれた1群の文字データを表示する表示制御手段
とを具えたことを特徴とするマルチ表示テレビジョン受
像機。1. A television receiver capable of capturing character data included in a character multiplex broadcast, which is superimposed on a vertical blanking period of a television video signal, and reduces an image of a television broadcast of an arbitrary channel. It is a multi-display television receiver that can display the character data included in the character multiplex broadcasting of other channels on the same screen at the same time, and intermittently extracts the horizontal scanning lines that compose the television video signal. And a video signal processing means for vertically compressing the image, and during the displaying of the compressed image by the video signal processing means, the reception of the character multiplex broadcast during the scanning period of the horizontal scanning line which is not the extraction target by the video signal processing means. A character data processing means for switching the operation to take in the character data included in the character multiplex broadcasting, and the video signal processing means. Extraction control means for changing the horizontal scanning line to be extracted for each field or for each frame, and a group of character data taken in by the character data processing means is displayed on the display screen of the compressed image. A multi-display television receiver comprising display control means.
