(b) Conventional technology Batteries have traditionally been used to supply power to electronic thermometers, calculators, and the like. Since the battery needs to be replaced as the battery reaches its end of life, the battery compartment may be attached to the main body with screws as shown in Figure 9, or it may be a separate part as shown in Figure 10. The structure is such that it can be attached to the main body via a certain coin or the like. Therefore, when using screws as shown in Figure 9, it is necessary to use tools such as a screwdriver to attach and detach the battery cover.
Even when using separate parts as shown in Figure 0, coins,
The battery cover must be attached and detached using a tool such as a screwdriver, and the task of replacing the battery is troublesome. In addition, the battery cover has elastic U.
The legs are shaped like a letter and are fixed to the main body using locking pieces provided on the legs, and the parts of the legs that protrude outside the main body can be pressed or pulled by hand. For some models, the battery cover can be easily removed from the main body by performing operations such as
(Refer to Publication No. 124352) If the battery cover can be easily removed in the battery compartment, there is a risk that a child or other child may accidentally remove the battery cover while playing and swallow the stored battery. It was hot.

(d) Means for Solving the Problems The battery storage case of the present invention consists of a main body portion that stores the battery in a recessed portion, and a cover portion that covers the recessed portion. An elastic leg portion having a protrusion and a locking piece is formed at one end of the cover portion, and a locking end is disposed at the opposite end of the cover portion from which the leg portion is formed, and the leg portion is provided with a locking end. The cover is stored in the recess and is locked to the main body by the locking piece and the locking end, so that the leg does not protrude outside the main body when the cover is locked to the main body. At the same time, an opening for inserting an external jig is formed between the cover part and the main body at the upper part of the protrusion of the leg part, and the cover part can be removed by inserting an external jig through the opening and processing the protrusion. The locking piece can be detached from the main body by pressing the locking piece.

(E) Function This will be explained with reference to the battery cover mounting structure of the battery storage case shown in Figure 1. After storing the battery 2 in the recess of the main body 1, the locking end 5 of the battery cover 4 is engaged with the notch 3 of the main body 1, and the battery cover 4 is inserted in the direction of arrow A. close. At this time, since the leg portion 6 has elasticity, it bends in the direction of arrow B, and the locking pieces 7, 7 at both ends of the leg portion 6 are locked with the opposing locking portions 8, 8 of the main body 1, and the battery The cover part 4 is attached to the recessed part of the main body part 1. This state diagram is shown in FIG. In addition, in this state,
As is clear from FIG. 2, since the legs 6 of the battery cover part 4 do not protrude outside the main body 1, the battery cover part 4 cannot be removed only by hand. When removing the battery cover part 4 from the recessed part of the main body part, it can be removed by applying pressure to the central protrusion 9 of the leg part 6.

(F) Embodiment FIG. 3 shows a perspective view of the cover part 4 of a battery used in an embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, the battery storage case is used in an electronic recording thermometer. One side of the battery cover part 4 has an elastic U having triangular prism-shaped locking pieces 7 at both ends and a protrusion 9 with a sharp tip in the center.
The leg portion 6 has a locking end 5 at the other end (opposite end) that locks into the notch portion 3 of the recessed portion of the main body portion 1.
is formed by integral resin molding. The battery cover portion 4 is attached to the recessed portion of the main body portion 1 as described above (see the operation section). Figure 4 shows
FIG. 3 is an assembled perspective view showing a state in which the cover part 4 is attached to a recessed part of the main body part 1. FIG. Hereinafter, the case where the cover part 4 is removed from the recessed part of the main body part 1 will be explained based on FIGS. 5, 6, and 7. The thermometer cover 10 attached to the main body 1 is removed from the main body 1, and inserted into the hole 11 provided in the main body 1 in the direction of arrow C, as shown in FIG. At this time, the leg portion 6 is bent in the direction of arrow D as shown in FIG. It will be in a state where it is released from the locking parts 8, 8 of 1. next,
As shown in FIG.
By moving the cover part 4 in the direction shown in FIG. 1, the cover part 4 can be removed from the main body part 1 while the protrusion 9 is retained in the locking groove 12, and the battery 2 can be replaced. In this way, when removing the cover part using the jig that is the temperature measurement part cover attached to the same main body, using the protrusions provided on the elastic legs, , the battery cover can be easily removed anywhere without much effort, and its practical value is extremely great.
Moreover, the battery cover part 4 can be removed from the main body 1 using a screwdriver instead of the temperature measuring part cover 10. As shown in FIG. 8, in the case of a screwdriver 13, insert the screwdriver 13 into the hole 11 in the direction of arrow F and bend the leg part 6 in the direction of arrow G. 1. It can be removed from the recessed part.

Note that the cover 10 of the temperature measuring section shown here covers the probe storage section of the electronic recording thermometer from the outside. By removing the cover 10 of the temperature measuring section, the inside of the probe storage section can be cleaned from the outside of the main body section 1.
