<Prior art> As shown in FIG. 4, a conventional culture container having a neck with a cap has an open end A of the neck C and a connecting part B between the container body D and the neck C. The openings are all circular and have approximately the same inner diameter, so the opening area of the connecting portion B is limited. The reason is as follows. That is, if the opening area of both the opening end A and the connecting part B is increased, operations such as introducing the culture medium and inserting pipettes will be convenient, but the height of the entire culture container will increase and the shape will be awkward. Although it became stable, there were drawbacks such as the inability to stack containers. On the other hand, if the opening end A and the connecting part B are made smaller or the neck part C is made longer and thinner, it will be easier to stack them and the shape will be stabilized. The drawback was that a dead zone was created in the culture medium when the cells were aspirated.

Such defects always occur whether the container body is made of glass or synthetic resin, and the reality is that until now there has been no established evaluation of the optimal shape or structure. It is.

<Purpose of the invention> The purpose of the invention is to completely eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, to make it easy to perform various operations such as introducing a culture solution and inserting pipettes for sample collection, and to create a stack with a stable shape. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a culture container with an easy-to-use structure.

<Structure of the invention> That is, the present invention is a culture container having an open neck on the side wall surface, and the inner wall shape of the opening end A of the neck C into which the cap is fitted is circular, and the container body D and the neck are connected to each other. The inner wall opening of the connecting part B with the part C has an oval or oblong shape with a maximum diameter G equal to the inner diameter of the opening end A and a minimum diameter F of 20 to 90% of the maximum diameter G. This is a culture container characterized by the following.

The culture vessels referred to in the present invention include culture bottles, culture flasks, culture roller bottles, etc. The present invention can be applied to both glass culture vessels and synthetic resin culture vessels, but since the structure of the neck of the culture vessel requires precision,
It is desirable that both the container body be made of synthetic resin.

A neck C serving as an opening is attached to the side wall surface of the container body D, and the inner wall of the opening end A into which the cap is fitted has a circular shape.

On the other hand, the inner wall opening at the connection part B between the container body D and the neck C has a shape in which the dimension in the vertical direction is smaller than in the horizontal direction, and such a shape is as shown in FIG. In addition to oval shapes like c,
The shape may be an ellipse or a rectangle with arcuate ends as shown in FIG. 3b, and although the shape is not particularly limited, it is preferably an ellipse or an oblong shape. As shown in FIG. 3, the maximum diameter G of the connecting portions B and E is equal to the inner diameter of the open end A of the neck C, and the minimum diameter F is 20 to 90% of the maximum diameter, preferably It is best to set the size to 30-70%. When the ratio of the minimum diameter to the maximum diameter of the connection part is less than 20%, the minimum diameter of the inner wall opening at the connection part becomes too small, making it impossible to introduce a culture medium or insert a pipette. On the other hand, since the minimum diameter F of the connection part B cannot be larger than a certain value, the ratio of F/G is
If it exceeds 90%, the disadvantages of conventional culture vessels as described above become apparent, such as the opening end A tends to become relatively small and blind spots are likely to occur in the culture medium when inserting a pipette. A feature of the present invention is that by making the opening area of the open end A larger than the maximum cross-sectional area that can be taken at the connecting part B, the operation range of the pipette is expanded and facilitated.

<Effects of the invention> According to the invention, the conventional drawback that the pipette is difficult to insert into the opening can be completely eliminated, and the pipette can be operated over a wide range of directions, front and back, left and right, so there are no blind spots inside the culture container. In addition, there are few sample cells left behind, and since there is no need to increase the height of the culture container, it is possible to provide a culture container with a stable shape and a structure that is easy to stack.
