ラ8aと紙送りローラ8aに押圧され回動自在な紙送り
補助ローラ8bにより搬送され、プラテン9とキャリッ
ジ4との間隙に送られる。このとき、用紙2は紙送りロ
ーラ8aと紙送り補助ローラ8bとの接点上の接線方向
に搬送されるので、プラテン9の表面に対して平行には
搬送されず、キャリッジ4との間で用紙2が曲げられな
がら、通過することになる。用紙2のこしの強さよりも
大きな印刷に必要な押圧力によって用紙2はサーマルヘ

点を有していた。また用紙厚の大きいものに合わせてヘ
ッド押圧を高く設定すると、専用の熱転写用紙の印刷に
おいて、文字つぶれや逆転写といった不具合が生じるこ
とになり、複数種の異なる用紙2の総てに対して満足な
印刷ができないという問題点を有していた。
