【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 熱源を内蔵し、回転することにより未定
着トナー像を担持する記録紙を接触させて搬送し、トナ
ー像を記録紙上に定着させる回転・停止可能な加熱ロー
ラ、該加熱ローラの表面温度を検出する温度検出手段及
び上記加熱ローラの異常温度を検出し上記熱源を切る保
護手段を有する電子写真記録装置の定着装置において、
上記保護手段の温度検出部は加熱ローラに接離可能とさ
れ、該加熱ローラの回転・停止と連動させて該加熱ロー
ラの停止時には温度検出部が加熱ローラに接触し、該加
熱ローラの回転時には上記温度検出部が加熱ローラより
離間するように連動させる連動手段を設けたことを特徴
とする定着装置。
