Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the sticking strength in the terminal part of each facing material of a molding for vehicle obtained by integrally molding a surface side facing material and a rear side facing material by a base material consisting of a hard resin material interposed between the both, and improve the appearance of the terminal part. CONSTITUTION:The terminal part 10b of a rear side facing material 8 has a recessed part 11 laid along the terminal part, and a protruding part 13 formed on the top end of an extending part 12 extended from the terminal part 10b of a surface side facing material 7 is fitted to the recessed part 11 by folding the extending part 12. Thus, the end part rear side of a base material 9 and the terminal part 10b of the rear side facing material 8 are continuously covered with the extending part 12.

2. Description of the Related Art A molded article for a vehicle such as a sunshade panel is disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 61-44340, for example, a surface layer and a cushion layer formed on a surface of a base material made of a hard panel. It is known that the front side skin material composed of and is adhered, and in such a molded article for vehicles, there is also known that the back side skin material is adhered to the back surface of the base material.

In the latter molded article for a vehicle, the end portion of the front surface skin material adhered to the surface of the base material is folded back to the back surface side of the base material and adhered to the back surface skin material, or the former molded vehicle product. In the case of molded articles for vehicles in which the back surface of the base material is not provided on the back surface of the base material, such as the article, JP-A-2-16051.
As disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 6, the terminal treatment is performed by a method of bending the end portion of the base material to which the front skin material is adhered to the back surface side of the base material, folding it back, and fixing it to the back surface of the base material. Often.

However, in a molded article for a vehicle, which has been subjected to the terminal treatment by the above-mentioned method, when the front skin material is bent to the back surface of the base material and adhered to the back surface thereof. However, or even when the end portion of the base material to which the front surface skin material is adhered is bent to the back surface side of the base material and fixed to the back surface of the base material, the peripheral portion of the base material becomes thick and the front skin There is a problem in that the folded-back portion of the material is rounded and the appearance of the vehicle molded product is deteriorated. Above all, when the end portion of the base material to which the front surface skin material is adhered is folded back to the back surface side of the base material and fixed to the back surface of the base material, a fixing force that exceeds the restoring force of the folded base material is required. Therefore, there has been a problem that the base material must be made of a material that can be used for a fixed metal object such as a tacker.

Then, as shown in FIG. 5, the back side skin material 8 formed in advance is set on the forming surface of the upper die 18 in conformity with the lower die 14 and the die is closed and supplied to the lower die 14. The hard foaming resin raw material 17 is foamed and cured to form the base material 9 made of the hard foaming resin. At this time, a portion of the front surface skin material 7 set in the lower mold 14 extending from the terminal portion 10a forms an extension portion 12, and the hard foaming resin previously supplied to the extension portion 12 is formed. By the foaming and hardening of the raw material 17, the convex portion 13 is formed at a portion corresponding to the tip of the extending portion 12. Further, at the portion corresponding to the position of the convex portion 13 when the extending portion 12 is folded back so as to cover the back surface of the end portion of the base material 9, the forming surface of the upper mold 18 is made to protrude, so that the extending portion 12 is formed. A concave portion 11 into which the convex portion 13 of the extending portion 12 is fitted when the is folded back is provided.

Further, such a lower mold 14a and an upper mold 18
In a, since the terminal portion 10a of the front surface skin material 7 and the terminal portion 10b of the back surface skin material 8 set on the molding surface of the lower mold 14a only come into line contact with each other when the mold is closed, the hard foaming property By the foaming pressure when the resin raw material 17 becomes the base material 9 by foaming and hardening, the hard foamable resin raw material 17 can pass through the line contact portion and reach the extension portion 12 side of the front surface skin material 7. .. Therefore, it is not always necessary to supply the hard foaming resin raw material 17 to the extension portion 12 before the mold closing.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, the back surface skin material integrally bonded to the back surface of the base material, and the recessed portion provided along the end portion of the back surface skin material and recessed toward the base material, The front side skin material is provided with an extending portion that is provided at the end portion and has a convex portion made of hard resin at the tip and has a shape that can be fitted into the concave portion, and the extending portion covers the back surface of the end portion of the base material. As described above, since the convex portion of the extended portion is fitted in the concave portion, the folded terminal portion of the back surface skin material is covered by the extended portion of the front skin material, and the front skin Since the end portion of the material is fitted in the recess, the folded back end portion of the back surface skin material and the end of the front surface skin material are not visible from the outside, and the appearance is improved. Further, the present invention can improve the sticking strength of the end portion of the front surface skin material as well as the sticking strength of the end portion of the back surface skin material.
