Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow the private branch of exchange to cope flexibly with an incoming call by identifying a bell signal coming to an external line interface section and varying a ringing of a bell of a telephone set in response to the identified type so as to discriminate the incoming call from an external line or an extension. CONSTITUTION:An external line interface section 15 controls closing/opening of an external line 14 to take electric interface. Moreover, an extension interface section 18 is provided with a means varying ringing of an extension telephone set 25. Then a voice transmission line is used for the transmission of a voice signal and a data transmission line is used for transmission of control data. Then a bell signal 16 coming to the interface section 15 is identified and the type of the signal 16 is retrieved and the ringing of the telephone set 25 is changed in response to the type. Then the exchange discriminates whether an incoming call comes from the external line 14 or from the accommodated telephone set 25. When the incoming call comes from the external line 14, the called party replies the call by its company name, and when the incoming call comes from an extension, the called party replies the call by omitting its company name, then the exchange copes flexibly with the incoming call.

2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, construction of a network network using a private automatic branch exchange is progressing, and one of the methods is to construct a tree type network network in which a small private automatic branch exchange is connected under a large private automatic branch exchange. There is a law. A private automatic branch exchange used like this small private automatic branch exchange is called a behind private automatic branch exchange. A sequence from the arrival of a bell signal from a large-scale private branch exchange (hereinafter, referred to as “upper private branch exchange”) to the outside line of the behind private branch exchange and ringing of the extension telephone will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 4 is a block diagram showing the structure of the private automatic branch exchange, which is composed of the following parts. Reference numeral 1 is a main device, 2 is an external line connected to an internal line interface part of a higher-level private branch exchange (not shown), 3 is an external line interface part that controls an electrical interface with the external line 2, and 4 is a bell coming to the external line 2. A bell signal detection unit for investigating the presence or absence of a signal, 5 a timer that triggers a bell signal confirmation, 6 an extension interface unit that interfaces with an extension telephone 12 to be described later, and 7 an extension telephone 1
Bell signal source for notifying 2 of incoming call, 8 is bell signal source 7
Is a relay for controlling the opening and closing of the device, 9 is a communication path unit, 10 is a control unit of the main device 1, 11 is a storage unit including connection data between an outside line telephone and an extension telephone, and 12 is an extension telephone. When a bell signal is input to the outside line 2 of the private branch exchange, the bell signal detection unit 4 detects the bell signal as a result of the periodic sampling. Here, the timer 5 is started after the set time, and sampling continues. The presence or absence of the bell signal is determined by the detection result during the period when the timer 5 is operating.
If there is a bell signal in this judgment, it is regarded as an outside line incoming,
The extension telephone data to be connected is read from the storage unit 11, the relay 8 is controlled to ring the extension telephone 12 with a bell signal, and the incoming call is notified.

However, in the extension telephone connected to such a conventional behind private branch exchange, the incoming call signal provided in the recent private branch exchange recognizes an incoming call to an outside line or an extension call. When the incoming call identification function that can be used is used, regardless of whether the incoming call from the higher-level private branch exchange is an incoming call from an external line or an internal line, there is a problem that the incoming call type cannot be identified. It was

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In order to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems, the present invention provides a bell signal different for each incoming call type which arrives at a usage pattern recognizing means of a private automatic branch exchange and an outside line of a behind private automatic exchange. It is configured to have an identification means for identifying the ringing pattern of.

[Function] With the above configuration, it is possible to determine, on the extension telephone set housed in the behind private branch exchange, whether it is an incoming call from the outside line of the host private branch exchange or the extension phone set up. Therefore, when the called party answers, it is possible to flexibly respond to an incoming call by giving the company name from an outside line and omitting the company name from an extension line.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of a private automatic branch exchange according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing the structure of a private branch exchange, which is composed of the following parts. Reference numeral 13 is a main device that performs connection between a plurality of extension telephones and an external line and various other controls. The main device 13 includes an external line 14, an external line interface unit 15, a bell signal detection unit 16, a timer 17 which triggers a bell signal detection confirmation and a bell type identification, and an internal line interface unit 18 which are connected to an internal extension interface unit of a higher-level private branch exchange. , Bell signal source 19, a relay 20 for opening and closing the bell signal source 19, a communication path unit 21, a control unit 22, a storage unit 23,
It is composed of a new data section 24 and an extension telephone set 25. FIG. 2 shows an embodiment of a signal pattern when the bell signal is changed to identify the incoming call type. FIG. 3 is a table and setting data of the new data section for behind-behind usage pattern and incoming call identification. The processing up to ringing of the extension telephone set accommodated in the main branch automatic exchange will be described on the assumption that an incoming call from the extension telephone of the higher-order private branch exchange is in the main branch automatic exchange. As a result of the constant period sampling, the bell signal detection unit 16 detects the presence of the bell signal. As shown in FIG. 3, the timer 17 is started at Tms after the arrival of the bell signal, and the sampling is continued. When Tms times out, the presence or absence of a bell signal is determined by the detection result during that time. If there is a bell signal in this determination, as shown in FIG.
The presence or absence of data setting in the incoming call identification table is determined by checking the set number. If the set number is not 0, it is considered as a behind usage mode, the incoming call identification timer value (tms) is read from the new data section 24, the incoming call identification counter of the same data section is cleared, and the timer is activated. During this period, the sampling is continued, and if the absence of the bell signal is detected, the incoming call identification counter is incremented by one. By comparing the incoming call identification counter and the data linked to the same table at the time-out of tms, the applicable incoming call type is determined to be an extension incoming call, the extension telephone 25 to be called is read out from the storage unit, and the extension telephone 25 Similarly to the bell signal input pattern at the time of extension call reception shown in FIG. 2, relay control is performed on the corresponding machine in a pattern capable of recognizing the incoming call type, and the extension telephone set 25 is made to ring.

As described above, according to the present invention, even if the usage form of the private automatic branch exchange is behind, the user who uses the extension telephone accommodated therein is as if connected to the higher private automatic branch exchange. It is possible to receive the same call type identification function as that of.
