<Prior Art> In general, arc processing torches, such as plasma arc processing torches, are appropriately water-cooled in order to prevent them from becoming too hot, especially when replacing replacement parts that are consumables. To extend the cycle, replacement parts are directly water-cooled.

For example, in FIG. 5, 1 is an electrode support member made of a conductive material, 2 is a hollow electrode supported at the tip of the electrode support member 1, 3 is an insulating sleeve provided outside the electrode support member 1, and 4 is an insulating sleeve provided outside the electrode support member 1. Insulating sleeve 3
1, 3, and 4 constitute a torch body 5, which is a nozzle support member made of a conductive material and provided outside of the nozzle support member. Reference numeral 6 denotes a hollow nozzle supported at the tip of the nozzle support member 4, and a plasma flow jetting hole 601 is bored in the center of the tip. Reference numeral 7 indicates an insulating cup, and 8 indicates a cooling water guide pipe. The cooling water that flows in from the supply hose 9 directly cools the electrode 2, and then flows out of the torch from the drain hose 10 through the passage indicated by the arrow. Note that an appropriate plasma arc forming fluid G such as compressed air or oxygen is appropriately supplied and ejected from the plasma ejection hole 601.

As mentioned above, replacement parts that are directly water-cooled, such as the electrode 2 and nozzle 6, are removably attached to the torch body 5, which consists of 1, 3, and 4, for example, by screws. "O" rings 121, 12 as appropriate to prevent water leakage.

By the way, as shown in FIG. 6, if the "O" ring is disposed on the torch body 5 side, the "O" ring 121 will be damaged due to frequent attachment and detachment of replacement parts, but the "O" ring will not deteriorate. Because it was difficult to check, the opportunity to replace the "O" ring was missed, and the reality was that the "O" ring was replaced only after water leakage occurred. Furthermore, since it is difficult to attach and remove the O-ring into the narrow O-ring groove, the O-ring is usually placed on the side of the replacement part.

<Problem that the invention attempts to solve> However, as mentioned above, “O” is present on the replacement part side.
When installing a ring, if you forget to attach the "O" ring 121, water leakage will occur, so as shown in FIG. An "O" ring accommodating groove 202 having a somewhat smaller outer diameter was also provided, and the "O" ring 121 was loaded into this accommodating groove 202. That is, the electrode 2 and the "O" ring 121 were attached so as to be integrated. However, since the electrode 2 is a consumable item, each time the electrode 2 is replaced, the integral "O" ring must also be replaced with a new one, which increases the cost of the consumable item.

In FIGS. 1 and 2, the torch body 5
is provided with screws for attaching the electrode 2 and nozzle 6, for example, female screws 101 and 401, but the structure does not have a housing groove such as an "O" ring, and the rest is as shown in FIG. It is formed identically to that shown in . A high-viscosity sealing material 13 is integrally fixed to a threaded portion 201 for attaching a replacement part that is directly water-cooled, such as an electrode 2. Note that as the high-viscosity sealing material 13, various thermoplastic resins such as acrylic resin, nylon resin, French resin, or polyethylene can be used.
From the results of a repeated test of attaching and detaching the electrode 2, tetrafluoride resin and fluorine-containing acrylic resin are particularly suitable.
In addition, as a method for fixing the high-viscosity sealant 13 to the electrode 2, the above-mentioned high-viscosity sealant may be baked, the high-viscosity sealant may be applied to the threaded portion of the cooled electrode 2, or the high-viscosity sealant may be fixed to the electrode 2 during drying. This can be carried out by mixing an appropriate chemical additive that causes the viscosity sealing material to shrink.

Water-tightness can be ensured simply by screwing the electrode 2, which has the high-viscosity sealing material 13 integrally fixed to the mounting screw portion 201, onto the female screw 101 of the torch body 5 as described above.

3 and 4 are diagrams showing other embodiments of the present invention, respectively, in which the torch body 5 is attached to the torch body 5 when the replacement part 2 that is directly water-cooled is attached to the torch body 5.
This shows a structure in which a high-viscosity sealing material 13 is integrally fixed to the mounting surface of the replacement part 2 that comes into contact with the replacement part 2. That is, the high viscosity sealing material 13 is integrally fixed to the flange portion which is the mounting surface of the replacement part 2. In this case, one or more recesses are provided in the flange portion of the replacement part 2, and the high-viscosity sealing material 13 is fitted into these recesses, so that the replacement part 2 and the high-viscosity sealing material 13 are Integration is being attempted.

As mentioned above, the replacement parts that are directly water-cooled include any parts such as the electrode 2 and the nozzle 6, and the torch according to the present invention can be used for TIG welding,
It can be applied to various arc processing torches such as MIG welding or CO 2 welding.

Although it is possible to wrap watertight tape around the threaded part, it is troublesome as the tape must be re-wrapped each time a replacement part is attached or removed, and the replacement work must be stopped if there is no replacement tape on hand. Moreover, since the watertightness changes depending on the number of wraps of the tape, it is not possible to achieve proper watertightness.

<Effects of the invention> The water-cooled arc processing torch according to the present invention is a water-cooled arc processing torch in which a replacement part that is directly water-cooled is detachable from the torch body. It is characterized by being integrally fixed. In this way, since the replacement parts having the high viscosity sealing material integrally fixed thereto can be manufactured easily and inexpensively, the total cost of the arc machining torch, which requires frequent replacement of replacement parts, is reduced. Of course, in the conventional case where the "O" ring and the replacement part are replaced with a new one at the same time, there is a process of machining the "O" ring groove, a troublesome work of attaching the "O" ring to the replacement part, and the "O" ring on the replacement part. It used to be necessary to carry out work to confirm that the ring was attached, but in the present invention, the above-mentioned work is completely unnecessary.

Furthermore, specifically, the replacement part is formed with a mounting screw, and a high-viscosity sealant is fixed to the threaded part, so that the replacement part and the high-viscosity sealant are firmly integrated. Even if replacement parts are repeatedly attached and detached, watertightness is reliably maintained.
