Conventionally, three-dimensional seat cushion materials used in automobiles have been produced by preparing a foam mold for forming a predetermined shape, and using this foam mold to foam-mold the three-dimensional seat cushion material. Therefore, in order to mold vehicle seat cushion materials of various shapes, foaming molds for each shape are required, and installing all of these molds requires a large amount of money and a large amount of setting space. Moreover, it was relatively labor-intensive and time-consuming. Furthermore, when mold foaming is used, it is inevitable that defective materials will be produced due to extrusion, uneven foaming, etc. The protruding portions require post-processing such as cutting after molding, resulting in high costs. Furthermore, conventional three-dimensional sheet cushion materials are made by cutting defective materials produced by mold foaming into chips, applying a binder to the chips, and then scraping them while reacting and hardening them with a melting medium or moisture. A reponding foam made by compressing it is also used, but it is not comfortable to sit on as a cushion material and has not been used as a vehicle seat. In addition, by using the slab urethane itself as the cushion material of the sheet directly, and by sewing the skin covering the cushion material of this slab urethane in a three-dimensional manner, the slab urethane cushion material can be made to follow the three-dimensional shape of the skin, and as needed. Some products are made by placing a button on the skin, pulling it with a string that passes through the cushion material, and then compressing the slab urethane at the button location.
The disadvantage was that it was less comfortable to sit on and less durable compared to cushion materials that were molded and foamed into a three-dimensional shape.

The present invention was invented in view of the above circumstances, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a sheet cushion material for vehicles that is inexpensive to manufacture by processing slab urethane that is commercially available at low cost and that is easy to melt and at low cost. The object of the present invention is to provide a seat cushion material for a vehicle that has the same sitting comfort and durability as a seat cushion material for a vehicle obtained by foaming.

This automobile seat cushion material 1 is
As shown in Figure 2, 5mm~
A base material 8 made of slab urethane with a thickness of about 10 mm is pasted, the mold retention agent is solidified, and the slab urethane and base material 8 are bonded.
A retaining layer 7 is formed between the slab urethane and the base material 8 to maintain a predetermined three-dimensional shape. The shape-retaining agent is preferably a urethane prepolymer containing 1 to 20 free isocyanate groups (NCO) synthesized from polyether glycol (diols, triols, etc.), tolylene diisocyanate, diphenylmethane diisocyanate, and the like. When using a urethane prepolymer produced from polyether glycol and tolylene diisocyanate and containing 1 to 20% free isocyanate as a mold retention agent, for example, apply this mold retention agent to the front and back surfaces of a 50 mm thick slab of urethane. Spray at a rate of 200g/ m2 and apply the sprayed slab urethane to molds, resin molds,
It is compressed in a wooden mold or the like, and after compression, it is reacted by adding moisture or injecting steam to obtain a predetermined three-dimensional shape. Other shape-retaining agents may include polyethylene powder, thermoplastic resins such as hot melt adhesives, thermosetting resins, and other various adhesives.
For example, when an adhesive containing a thermoplastic resin is used as a mold retention agent, a slab urethane is attached to a mold, heated under pressure, and then cooled to harden the mold retention agent and form the mold retention agent layer 7. The predetermined three-dimensional shape is maintained.

In addition, the seat cushion material 1 for automobiles shown in Fig. 3
In this method, a base material 9 such as a plate-like material made of hardened non-woven fabric or vegetable fibers is applied to the shape preservation agent applied to the lower surface of the urethane slab cut into a predetermined shape, and the shape preservation agent is solidified. A shape retaining agent layer 7 is formed between the slab urethane and the base material 9, and the slab urethane and the base material 9 are bonded together to maintain a predetermined three-dimensional shape. As these base materials 8 and 9, materials of various other materials can be appropriately selected and used. When using the base material 8 made of slab urethane with a thickness of approximately 5 mm to 10 mm, which forms the surface layer of the automobile seat cushion material 1, the feeling when sitting on the seat cushion material 1 is directly applied to the shape preservation agent layer 7 formed from the shape preservation agent. It is possible to keep it softer than when it comes into contact with the surface.
In addition, in the case where the base material 9 is bonded to the lower side of the slab urethane, the base material 9 prevents the slab urethane from being damaged by the spring mechanisms 4 and 5.
This helps maintain the overall shape retention of the automobile seat cushion material 1.

4 and 5 show a second embodiment of an automobile seat cushion material 1 for use in a vehicle, in which a plurality of cuts 10 are formed from the lower surface of the slab urethane, and a shape retaining agent (Fig. ) is applied and solidified to form the mold retaining agent layer 7. In the illustrated embodiment, the cuts 10 are made from the lower surface of the urethane slab toward the upper side, but it goes without saying that the cuts 10 may be made in the opposite direction, and the cuts 10 may be made alternately from both the upper and lower surfaces. In addition, individual cuts 10
The length of the cut may vary depending on the thickness of the automobile seat cushion material 1 to be formed. In the case where the mold retaining agent layer 7 is formed in the cut 10 in this way, three-dimensional molding becomes good and the surface feel is not impaired.

As explained above, the vehicle seat cushion material according to the present invention can prevent deterioration of the surface feel, protect the seat cushion material from the spring mechanism, and improve the overall shape retention. Moreover, since a mold retention agent layer is formed between the base material and the slab urethane, a large amount of mold retention agent can be used without impairing the surface feel, and as a result, a three-dimensional shape suitable for vehicles can be created. The ability to form and protect will be improved.
