2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in such a module, as shown in FIG. 3, a liquid crystal panel 11 is put in a plastic frame 12 which is molded in advance so that the liquid crystal panel 11 can be inserted, and a conductive rubber 13 is driven with the liquid crystal panel 11. The circuit board 14 is inserted between the circuit boards 14, and the board 14 is inserted into a hole provided at a predetermined position of the plastic frame 12 through a hole 14-A formed on the board 14.
The panel 11 was fixed by inserting the screw 15 from below. In such a conventional liquid crystal display device, (1) since the plastic frame 12 is fixed by the screw 15, the number of assembling steps for screwing is large.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS FIG. 1 is a diagram showing the basic structure of a liquid crystal display device of the present invention. The liquid crystal display device of the present invention comprises at least a holding frame 2, a liquid crystal panel 1, a conductive rubber 3, and a circuit board 4 on which a drive circuit element 6 such as an LSI, a capacitor, and a resistor is mounted. The holding frame 2 is a thin metal plate and has a thickness of about 0.1 to 1.2 mm. Material is iron, copper, bronze,
There are brass, stainless steel, aluminum plates, etc. The thin metal plate has a constant thickness, and a rolled metal material may be used. The iron material is the cheapest. When using an iron material, forming a base with nickel etc. makes it resistant to rust. Also,
Use of stainless steel plate not only resists rust but also has excellent ductility. The holding frame 2 is formed by bending and processing one such thin metal plate into a shape as shown in FIG. As shown in the drawing, the holding frame 2 has four sides bent at substantially right angles so as to surround the liquid crystal panel 1. The holding frame 2 itself and the liquid crystal panel 1 are attached to the circuit board 4 at a predetermined portion.
There is a foot 2A for fixing to.

The liquid crystal panel 1 shown in FIG. 1 exemplifies a twist nematic type (hereinafter abbreviated as TN type) liquid crystal panel. When the liquid crystal panel 1 is a TN type, the upper and lower polarizing plates and the reflection plate are fixed to the panel by a silicone or acrylic adhesive. When the liquid crystal panel 1 is a white-tailored guest-host type (hereinafter abbreviated as GH), a UV filter is attached to the upper surface of the liquid crystal panel 1, and a reflector is attached to the lower surface.

The circuit board 4 is a glass epoxy board, a paper epoxy board, a paper phenol board, or a CC4 board (manufactured by Hitachi Chemical Co., Ltd.).
And so on. The circuit board 4 needs to have a certain hardness,
Soft materials such as flexible substrates are not suitable. A drive element such as an LSI 6 for driving the liquid crystal panel 1 to display is disposed on the upper surface or the lower surface of the circuit board 4. The LSI having a flat package is effective for reducing the size of the entire liquid crystal display device. When the LSI 6 is attached to the upper surface of the circuit board 4, there is an advantage that the circuit board can be manufactured as a single-sided board by devising the wiring on the circuit board 4. L
When the SI 6 is attached to the lower surface of the circuit board 4, when the liquid crystal panel 1 is attached to the circuit board 4, the reflector attached to the lower surface of the panel 1 does not damage the LSI 6 and is easy to assemble. There is also a method of making a hole in a portion where the LSI 6 is arranged and embedding the LSI 6 in the hole. This has the advantage that the entire liquid crystal display device can be made thinner and smaller. A terminal portion for transmitting a signal to the liquid crystal panel 1 is provided on the circuit board 4, and the conductive rubber 3 is arranged above the terminal portion. The terminal provided at the end of the circuit board 4 inputs and outputs signals to and from the outside. A hole 4A is formed on the circuit board 4 at a portion corresponding to the foot 2A of the presser frame 2. The hole 4A has a rectangular shape or an elliptical shape, and is slightly larger than the size of the foot 2A so that the foot 2A of the holding frame 2 can be inserted therein. A hole 4B provided for positioning the liquid crystal panel 1 is formed on the circuit board 4. The shape of the hole 4B may be circular, oval, rectangular, square, or the like. Also on the presser frame 2,
A hole 2B is formed in a portion of the circuit board 6 corresponding to the positioning hole 4B of the liquid crystal panel 1.

The liquid crystal display device of this embodiment, which is composed of at least the above components, is assembled by the following method. The assembly jig 7 shown in FIG. 2 is a jig used when assembling the liquid crystal display device of this embodiment. On the assembly jig 7,
Pin 7B is raised. The raised position of the pin 7B is the position of the hole 2B of the holding frame 2. The holding frame 2 is placed on the assembly jig 7 with the frame turned upside down. The holding frame 2 is placed on the assembly jig 7 with the hole 2B passing through the pin 7B. Next, the liquid crystal panel 1 is assembled with the assembly jig 7 so that the outer peripheral side hits the pin 7B.
Place it on the presser frame 2 placed on top. In this embodiment, the two pins 7B are provided on one side of the liquid crystal panel 1, and
One pin 7B is arranged on the side perpendicular to the side. Therefore, when the outer peripheral side of the liquid crystal panel 1 is brought into contact with the three pins 7B, the position of the liquid crystal panel 1 is inevitably set at a fixed position determined by the pins 7B. Next, the conductive rubber 3 is placed on the terminals of the liquid crystal panel 1. next,
The drive circuit board 4 is mounted. The through hole 4B is previously formed on the circuit board 4 at a position corresponding to the position of the pin 7B of the assembly jig 7.
Has been opened. The circuit board 4 is set on the liquid crystal panel 1 by passing the holes 4B formed in the board 4 through the pins 7B of the assembly jig 7. The foot 2A of the holding frame 2 is projected through the hole 4A of the substrate 4. Next, the foot 2A of the holding frame 2 protruding from the circuit board 4 is twisted to fix the liquid crystal panel 1 to the circuit board 4.

When the conductive rubber 3 is attached to the liquid crystal panel 1 with an adhesive or an adhesive on its side surface, the conductive rubber 3 is integrated with the liquid crystal panel 1 and the conductive rubber 3 is not displaced. There is an advantage that the assembly becomes very easy.
The adhesive is, for example, a known acrylic adhesive used for attaching a polarizing plate or a reflector of the liquid crystal panel 1. Examples of the adhesive include cemedine KK polyurethane-based adhesive-product number 700 series and epoxy-based resin adhesive-product number 1500 series. Since these adhesives and pressure-sensitive adhesives are applied to the side surface of the conductive rubber 3 not having the conductive portion but to the side surface having no conductive portion, the conductivity is not impaired.
